I overlooked the issues people were having with the ethernet port because I figured it was a few isolated incidents, but those problems are the real deal everyone. Stay away from this board; Reddit and other message boards are littered with a ridiculous amount of people with various issues with the ethernet port. Be it packet loss, connectivity issues, the port recognizing the ethernet cable, or it purely being dead, this issue is a major problem. I fall into the group whose port won't recognize the ethernet cable. After spending 4 hours trying to do all of the various troubleshooting I could find online, I simply gave up. I did find out, however, that the boards that they will be releasing in the very near future of this same model will APPARENTLY have the issue fixed. Do not buy this motherboard, you are playing Russian roulette. I'm the dummy for not doing the proper research, but don't fall into this trap.
