There have been 209 matches awarded 5 or more stars; Mitsuharu Misawa has the most individual matches with 25.
How many 5Ric Flair is considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He has been in some incredible matches throughout his career. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there have been 8 five star Ric Flair matches.
How many 5Surprisingly and inexplicably, Kurt Angle has never received a five-star rating from Dave Meltzer, which again leads us to doubt the effectiveness of this rating system. Frankly it doesn't make any sense that Kurt Angle doesn't have a five-star match, among so many masterpieces he delivered.
How many 5Because of this, Orton has never had a 5-star match. He has surpassed the 4-star mark a few times, but that was on rare occasions. Simply put, Orton is a sports entertainer, but not an over-the-top wrestler who executes dangerous moves to get a 5-star rating.
