Does United Community Bank have mobile deposit?

As a valued UCB Mobile Banking App user, we want you to know your safety and security are very important to us! In recent weeks we implemented a new, safer practice when depositing checks using our Mobile Banking app. You must now endorse the back of the check with your signature along with "For Mobile Deposit Only" in dark ink only. Please write legibly and do not use abbreviations.

Please note that, without this additional endorsement, your mobile deposit will be rejected. To successfully deposit checks using your Mobile Banking app, please follow these instructions and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

United Community Bank Mobile Deposit

Mobile Deposit allows you to make deposits into your United Community Bank checking, savings and money market accounts with your web-enabled phone or tablet with a camera using the UCB Mobile Banking App. 

Mobile Deposit features:
  • Make deposits 24 hours a day, 7-days a week.
  • Deposits received after 2:30 p.m. CST will be posted on the next business day.
  • Daily limit and per deposit limit is $2,500.
Endorsement Requirements:
  • Properly endorse check.
  • Must also include the restriction "For Mobile Deposit Only".
How to make a Mobile Deposit:
  • Must be enrolled for Online Banking.
  • Sign into the UCB Mobile Banking App.
  • Select: Deposit.
  • Enter account to deposit into and check amount.
  • Take a photo of the front of the check.
  • Properly endorse back of check and include "For Mobile Deposit Only".
  • Take a photo of the back of the check.
  • Select: Make a deposit.

United Community Bank

Everything is all in one place which makes banking faster. During my twenty three years in the U.S. Navy I lived in many different cities and had to switch banks many times. The United Community Bank has by far been the best. I have needed a personal loan five times since I became a member of UCB. And one mortgage loan. The ease of which I was approved for everything amazed me. And so does the way everyone has been so friendly and helpful. Especially Donna Baxter. Hers was the first face I saw the day I came there when I was looking for a bank. She greeted me smiled and asked how she could help me. She has helped me with all my banking since that day. The second day I came in she still remembered my name. Donna, all the cashiers, and everyone else I have come in contact with has made banking enjoyable for myself and my wife. I never thought that that was possible. All the other banks I have been associated with were like working with androids instead of humans.

Bank app review

Everything great only one or two things I’d change. I don’t know my account number and routing number, that would be awesome to be able to find here instead of calling bank or trying to find where I wrote it down 5 years ago. And the delay opening it since the update. I got so used to being able to click the check account button that now the update has moved everything down the page and I have to wait a few extra seconds to load or I’ll end up in the ad. (Oh the troubles of being spoiled with technology) Again everything is great!

Can’t control cards or report fraud. Changing banks.

I got a text about a fraudulent charge. I confirmed I did not recognize the charge. They responded with “call fraud dept at this number immediately”. It was a third party that couldn’t help at all. I have 3 accounts and found another unknown charge in another account, which is a joint account. I told them there was a $300 charge in this other account and they said they can only go by debit card number and to call the bank tomorrow. Completely useless app and after hours service. This is the second time out UCB accounts have been compromised. It took a month to get our $1k back the first time. Meanwhile, I checked my Wells Fargo app, and I could have taken care of everything through the app without having to call anyone: Turn card on or off, Dispute a transaction. There isn’t even a way to report a fraudulent charge on full access website. We’re closing all 3 accounts with them.
