Hello, I would like to know whether it's possible to use an Xbox One controller for the instruments, as I do not own or have the money for a Guitar Hero controller. Thanks :)

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Since it also is Xinput there shouldn't be any issues regarding compatibility, if there is any, you can fix it with the gamepad binding option, this also helps if you have a non xbox guitar since it also emulates xinput guitars if you need to.

IIRC there's a debug setting you have to enable because the game normally only allows a standard controller to start up vocals gameplay.

From what I remember I was able to use my DS4 controller when I first downloaded GHWTDE, but I'm not sure exactly as I switched to an actual guitar controller.

I am trying to play ghwtde. The game starts when I click the icon, it goes full screen, then it takes me back to the desktop. The game is still running. I've reinstalled the mod. I've reinstalled the game, I've also used different isos that were on the world tour definitive edition discord. I've also tried compatibility mode. Nothing works. How do I fix this.

Hello I was wondering if it's possible to get the Rock Band 4 PS4 Red Stratocaster working on Guitar Hero World Tour Definitive Edition? I am able to connect it through Bluetooth on my PC, and when I get into the game it sees it in the controller binding options, but when I try to bind everything it only plays like the colored buttons are strumming the guitar. Any advice would be much appreciated.
