I stayed with my daughter at the Kimpton from 9/24-9/26. Check-in was a breeze - the man checking us in gave us lengthy info on places to go locally and restaurants to try. The pool located on the roof was large and there were plenty of lounge chairs. I made several requests of the front desk and all were met with a smile and a solution - they ranged from extra waters for my room, to making me a cup of tea (coffee was in lobby but I drink tea) to holding our bags on the last day until we left for our flight home. One of their staff even chased me down with a coupon code to purchase the Trolley Tour. I would definitely stay here again. It was a lovely walk to Vanderbilt and not far from Hillsborough village with lots of shops and restaurants.

Fantastic stay here. A 20 min walk to broadway super easy. There are scooters to take as well as Ubers which are not expensive. Couldn’t be happier with my stay. Super clean and everyone is friendly. There is a bar in the lobby and breakfast in the mornings. They also have a full fridge of drinks in the lobby you can purchase. Don’t understand how people can give this a bad review. My daughter and I stayed at the Hilton for a Mother/Daughter trip to Nashville over Labor Day weekend. It is a great hotel in a wonderful location. It is just a short drive to Broadway and the hotel offers a free shuttle anywhere within 3 miles, which is a HUGE bonus. This amenity saves parking fees and headaches. Tony, one of the many amazing shuttle drivers was our favorite. He was great! The front desk staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly. Kierra and Alanta helped us with recommendations and getting the shuttle scheduled when we needed it. Al, one of the managers was incredibly hospitable the day the elevator was being repaired and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of in the best way possible. I recommend purchasing the breakfast plan. The breakfast was great, however, the service was a bit lacking there. Joseph was our waiter the first day and went out of his way to ensure we had excellent service, however, the other 3 mornings the service was non-existent and slow, but we managed anyway. It is still a great value. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Housekeeping was also friendly. The valet desk was more than helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay again on our next visit. Great job!!! Keep up the great service!

So our beloved friends were looking to celebrate their engagement with us; someplace amazing. Doing so in a safe way during the current pandemic proved challenging. Luckily I had met MJ, the general manager of the pool club at the Virgin Hotel, who offered her amazing private outdoor patio to host the occasion. The drinks were refreshing, the food delicious, and the view was captivating- the best I've seen of downtown Nashville. Looking from the iconic Batman Building to the Parthenon was a sweeping, breathtaking view. Before long the bride-to-be was dancing to the music, saying ”I am so, so happy”. We were shown incredible service from the time we dropped off our cars with the valet staff, and our server Conner was attentive and friendly, seamlessly becoming an important part of our evening. Thank you MJ, Conner, valet staff, and anyone else at Virgin Hotels who helped make this special night perfect.

This week, my daughter and I traveled to Tennessee for her college campus tour in Knoxville. We were trying to get back to California and unfortunately we were caught in the back-to-back storms that hit the southern states, including much of Tennessee. We arrived in Nashville very shaken by the storm and saddened that our flight scheduled for the following day was cancelled. Upon our arrival at The Element, we were greeted by Tonya, the general manager. That's when everything changed for the better!!!! Never, ever have I felt so welcomed in a hotel before. Tonya took AMAZING care of my daughter and I while we were stuck in Nashville. With no vehicle, no access to the restaurants (most of which were closed due to the storm), and all food delivery services out of commission,Tonya invited us to a Chinese dinner the first night. The following evening she arranged for food to be picked up and delivered to us at the hotel. She went above and beyond any customer service I have ever received. She even offered to cook dinner for us if we had to stay an additional evening. We were fortunate enough to fly out on that third day and she even checked up on us to make sure we arrived to our destination safely by text messaging us. Tonya is the epitome of southern hospitality!!!!

We spent one night in late May and stayed in room 124, which is facing to the back; we got there early and it was nice to check about an hour and a half early. The room was nice (a bit on the small side), very clean and practical; the bathroom VERY small; we had hardly any room to leave anything by the sink. The water pressure in the sink was great, the toilet flush extremely loud, so was the AC. We had a good amount of outlets, Wi-Fi was good, the lobby was very nice and the parking lot well lit, yet on the small side. We heard constant slamming of the doors... Except for the young man working the morning of our departure, everyone was very nice. Breakfast was not well tended to; I had to go to the front desk to ask to have plates restocked; the eggs had run out...another trip to the front desk; there was only powdered coffee creamer (which is not a personal preference), but there were waffles and sausage patties. The pool was not open yet, as they were still working on getting the outside ready. Location is great; within walking distance to restaurants and The Grand Ole Opry Hotel. Yes, we would stay again.

I love the red brick construction of this beautiful Courtyard by Marriott hotel. One of the nicer ones without a doubt. Pleased with how clean and well thought out the lobby and bistro lounge were. Starbucks always a huge plus. Good selection of food and drinks. The staff was always helpful and accommodating, especially the Asst. GM, Brian. We had a small mixup during check in and Brian jumped right in to make us feel welcomed and went above and beyond for our family. Will DEFINITELY be back. The location is amazing. Quiet, but walking distance to Green Hills Mall (wow this place), Kroeger and Bud’s Liquor.

Not really a place to go if you want your wife to be comfortable. We gave it a shot because it had reasonable rates, breakfast, and was near enough to the airport, but I would not stay there again. My biggest gripe is the bathroom. It was very very old and smelly. The toilet smelled bad, like foul body odor emanating from the lower tile area maybe. The shower looked nasty and had a rubber mat thing that they tried to spruce it up with ten years ago. Stepping onto it was cringe worthy. Slimy sticky yuck. And then after the shower the bottom of my feet burned and still do as I write this. My wife had flip flops and her experience was worse. The shower head sprayed hard from the center and she adjusted it and the spray pattern changed, but she said it smelled like feces. Maybe it was the water I said to console her but who knows. Very bad disgusting shower all around. The beds were ok. Breakfast ok, area ok, staff ok, but the shower was so bad that I will never stay at this place again.

So it was super convenient, the valet was easy and the check in process super smooth. The rooms are nothing to write home about. The bathrooms are what really need to be updated. Old style tub shower. The sinks are on the carpet outside the bathroom. You could easily relay out that set up and have two sinks all on tile inside the bathroom and go to a more of a modern glass shower. For the price you pay you'd like that.

Nothing overly fancy but the rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable. Not in the ”busy downtown” which actually suited us much better. We could walk to bars, and shops. Free Breakfast, Shuttle services, mini fridge in the room. Pool was nice and we enjoyed our time out there..... After staying there for 4 nights we moved on to another hotel and wished we could have come back to Hyatt Place Nashville Opryland. Matter of fact we ended up driving back to that area several times...called it our old stomping grounds! Close to Opryland.

The hotel is in a good location in DOWNTOWN, very close to Vanderbilt University. The room has a small microwave oven. The booked room does not include breakfast, but there are plenty of options to eat nearby. This is the best holiday inn in the United States. I used to live in another state. This time I completely changed my impression of the Holiday Inn. The bed is very soft and comfortable, suitable for me who doesn't like hard beds.

I've stayed at several Marriott Hotel properties in downtown Nashville. There is a lot to like about this property. it is in a good location. The property has three Marriott hotels on site (Residence Inn, Springhill Suites, and the AC Hotel). The big negative about the hotel is the lack of on-site self parking. I don't recall seeing that caveat when I booked the hotel. There are some garages nearby, but they are not super convenient. The valet parking is $48 for a night. That is pretty high, even by Nashville standards. On the plus side, the rooftop bar is a nice feature. The breakfast area is nicer than the standard Residence Inn. The best aspect of the room was the bed and pillows. In general, Marriott beds are on the hard side. This bed had a pillowtop mattress and it was very comfortable. The pillows were also quite nice. I would stay here again, but I would scope out off-site parking beforehand.

Stayed here for two nights and were quite happy with our stay. Nashville has become an insanely priced hotel town, but we got at least as somewhat livable rate here. We were four persons staying and had a 1 bedroom suite. The suite is spacious enough and the sofabed one of the better ones we have had (but not by any means close to a bed), but there were two drawbacks (if staying more then 2 persons). The first is that the fridge is insanely noisy, so sleeping in the living room wasn't very ideal. The other that the bathroom is in the back of the bedroom, meaning we had to go through there to get to the toilet (not optimal if i.e people are coming back from a night out on different times). Full kitchen in the room is nice (except for the noisiest fridge I've experienced). All in all though, the hotel is very nice. It's modern, service is good and breakfast is your typical US one. It's located a short walk from many attractions like Broadway and Ryman and was easy to get to by car. Parking is by valet at $40 + tax. Steep price, but competitive to others in the area. Would consider coming back when we (hopefully) return to Nashville.

The staff at the Cambria Hotel really goes above and beyond. We had an issue with our reservation (via a 3rd party) for which the Hotel didn't have any responsibility but they managed to accomodate us in their last available room on a really busy weekend. Special shout out to Elliott Payne and Lauren who were our saviours on this specially stressful situation and assigned us a room with a view on the top floor. Besides that, the hotel is on a great location, with all the major city attractions at walking distances but still provides a quiet environment to rest and work in.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. I really had planned to rate 5 circles. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping does a good job. The beds are comfortable. The room is comfortable. The only thing I have to really say of how disappointed I am, is that they have since decided to charge a $100 deposit if you use cashapp, Venmo, Chime (which I have a monthly direct deposit going to each month), etc. I don't know who could afford $100 each time they stay if they are like me who goes night by night. Not to mention when they've never had an issue out of me. I actually take my own trash out, make sure to give housekeeping my towels when I get new ones, etc. I have had bad experiences with hotels who want to charge a deposit on my bank card and I don't want the headache of having to dispute charges that were never replaced by hotels. I work with delivery services so I use my cashapp (mostly), PayPal, and chime to make deposits onto those cards as it allows me to get my payments faster. Nonetheless, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind, but I would not recommend it to someone like me who does mind. There's nothing really bad to say about the hotel itself, but it really stinks for good customers when they also will not allow a cash deposit and then give your cash back upon checkout. Just wanted to write a review so those of you who are booking third party, on the red roof website, etc have a heads up of the $100 deposit now being charged.

Very clean, great location! Ms. Robin in housekeeping was a joy to meet! The pool area and the lobby area were my favorite places to relax! We will stay here again when we come back to Nashville. They do charge a $300 hold when you check in for Any damages that may happen. I wish I had known this beforehand. It was immediately refunded within hours after checkout though. Also, housekeeping doesn’t come in and make beds, refill towels, etc. daily so I didn’t like that part but if we needed anything they were very accommodating to make sure we had everything we needed.

Quiet - comfortable and designed in a way that made me feel like I had booked a spotlessly clean and perfectly well kept air b n b without the fear of finding a baby toy under the bed to remind you that this is really someone's home. Secured from public access with a great breakfast and a coffee bar - they also have a really cool club at the rooftop so no need to really even leave the building. I even had instacart easily deliver my groceries. Coffee from my balcony watching the sun come up the tip of the iceburg.

Just before 5am the fire alarm goes off in the building and everyone has to evacuate - not a good situation. Obviously, not a lot of happy people. The staff had absolutely no communication with all of us and if questions were asked they said “We can not discuss it”. Wait a minute … was there a fire in the building or not? Was it a false alarm? The fire department is here - what is going on? No answers at all. Some people tried to get refunds for not having a peaceful night. If it was the hotels fault I can understand some kind of a compensation - comp for a discounted night for another stay, maybe some points, etc. They acted like it was nothing. If it was, at least tell us. If it was burnt popcorn- tell us. In all the situation was totally mishandled by the staff. They should exercise full disclosure - not just act like it’s a big secret. We’re they are fault or not??? We were thankful it was not serious - at least we didn’t think so because they never said anything. As far as the room is concerned, it was clean - over priced, but so is everything in downtown Nashville. The breakfast is free like most places, but the it’s poor at best. The breakfast consist of cereal and various things like biscuits and such in plastic bags and throw in a heated pan - wrapped! Excluding the fire alarm it’s average at best and not worth the cost. Disappointing experience.

We booked three rooms with this hotel based on pictures from the hotel website. Seem to be a clean, above average hotel. Do not be deceived!! For starters, they have bedbugs. I got bit and came home with 40+ bedbug bites. Had to make a trip to the doctor and get prescription strength anti-itch cream. So I showed the hotel manager the numerous bites on my arms and legs, I took pictures and also captured one of the bedbugs in a plastic cup and took it down to the front desk to show him. He was in denial and said they weren’t bedbugs-he didn’t know what they were but he would contact his exterminator. He offered a $70 credit. Seriously? I itched for five days and ended up making a trip to the doctor, had to fill a prescription and you only offer $70 credit? I contacted Best Western corporate and they were not willing to do anything about it; told me it was at the discretion of the hotel. The rooms were dirty… Hair and dirt in the bathroom corners, feces on the toilet, stained and sticky carpet, grease on the valance. This hotel is also located in the hood, across the street from apartment apartment complex, bus stop outside in homeless camp one block away. There is an abandoned building outback with a chain-link fence around it and barbed wire fence on top of that. Our first night, we heard gunshots at 4 AM. That should tell you something! I have since read numerous reviews of bedbugs and uncleanliness at this hotel. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

I really enjoyed my stay. Check-in & check-out was very easy. When I arrived, my key was waiting for me. Kenneth was very kind & helpful. My room was nice & the bed was really comfortable. I definitely didn't expect it to snow, but the room was cozy. They had a decent breakfast selection. The only downside to my stay was while I was resting, I could hear everything going on in the parking lot, a car revving up its engine, shovel breaking up ice (it was really icy near the entrance) & people laughing & talking. Next time I'll request a room that is not on the parking lot side.

We stayed for a total of eight nights and will book here again. The studio king room offered a good amount of space, with a nice desk area, convenient 180-degree rotating TV for ease of viewing from the bed or the sitting area, and a well laid out kitchen with dining counter and two stools, medium size refrigerator and a good assortment of dishes, glassware, pots/pans. The bathroom is also quite good-sized, with sufficient sink counter space for traveling toiletries, and a powerful shower. Towels were soft and absorbent. The bed was very comfortable - important for an extended stay such as we had. The hotel was full, but our room on the third floor was very quiet. We used the chat feature on the BonVoy app to connect with hotel staff during the staff (for housekeeping matters) and they were very responsive, answering within a few minutes of posting. Nearby there are several grocery stores (Kroger, Trader Joe’s) making it easy to get extra food items for the kitchen. Good assortment of restaurants close to the hotel, though we drove to most of our preferred dining spots elsewhere - so, the hotel works well if you have a car, but its distance from downtown could make for costly paid car service (unless you’re going to The Bluebird Cafe, only about a half-mile away!). Downsides: would not recommend this type of room if you need to use the optional sofa bed; once opened it consumes the entire studio space with little room to walk around it; also, as typical for a sofa bed, it is not very comfortable. Wish there had been a luggage rack in the room; there’s plenty of space to position one near the bed (there was a countertop to hold a suitcase in the passageway to the bathroom, useful if traveling with only one suitcase). Wish there had been a bit more info provided on checkin or in-room materials on some housekeeping aspects - such as what to do with filled garbage bags, how to exit parking garage after check-out (remember to keep a room key!).

The breakfast at the hotel was free, and the breakfast at the standard small hotel was quite good. It was too early to arrive, could not stay, ate a breakfast, and left the luggage to go out. The hotel is quite a lot of people living, and it feels more popular than the general airport hotel. Not far from the city center, how much money was forgotten by taxi. Overall it is quite good. The city is a city of country music, many related museums can be seen, there are theaters, and the lively city can not do it - all bars or music, the street has a special car on the parade, the car is lively Young people are singing and jumping, or percussion instruments.
