Materials[]

A netherwart farm can be one of the easiest and most rewarding farms a player can build. Used correctly, the netherwart farm is one of the most effective farming methods for generating money. In order to construct one full layer, you will need:

• Soul Sand (Can be purchased in the hub. You will need about 400 stacks to build a whole layer on the default island.)

• Nether Wart (Another 400 stacks, assuming no island upgrades.)

• Optional - Newton Nether Warts Hoe (This hoe is specialized for nether wart, but anything with Replenish will do. You could also use the nether wart pouch again.)
• Optional - Builder's Wand (Used to create soul sand lines easier)
• Optional - Nether Wart Pouch (Used to plant nether wart lines easier)
• Optional - Slabs (Usually put on the border of the farm to keep everything organized.)

Building the Farm[]

• Step 1. Get your multiple stacks of soul sand. If you are an early-game player, start with a 40 x 40 farm. The farm should be floating in mid air, and should be in a lower range of y-coordinates. If mid or late game, build 2 full layer farms, as you will need to farm a lot of it as a money making strategy. Now you start to build. Place your soul sand around the border of how big you want your farm to be, or for a full island farm just build all the way out in one direction, then fill one row in. Then, use a builder's wand and fill it in by right clicking the soul sand border. (Or just use your hands) Good job! you're a third of the way there!

• Step 2. Plant the nether wart. (If using a pouch, go to an edge of the farm and right click on the soul sand)

• Step 3. When the nether wart is done growing, harvest it and sell it to an NPC for profit!
