Best Selling in ChainsawsCurrent slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Chainsaws How do you start a Echo chainsaw?Pull the starter handle once or twice until the engine starts to turn over. Push the choke control back in. Pull the starter cord once more to start the engine. Make sure the chain saw warms up for several minutes at idle before starting to cut.
Why can't I start my Echo chainsaw? An ECHO chainsaw won't start when it doesn't have sufficient air, fuel or spark to form a combustion. A bad on/off switch, old fuel, plugged fuel filter, clogged fuel line, dirty carburetor, plugged air filter, plugged spark arrestor, bad spark plug or faulty ignition coil can keep an ECHO chainsaw from starting.
How many times do you Prime An Echo chainsaw? Now that you have the chainsaw set to run, you need to prime the unit with fuel. Priming the unit is done by pumping the primer bulb 4 to 6 times to fill the bulb with enough fuel to visually see. Once you can see fuel in the primer bulb after priming you should be good.
Do you start a chainsaw with the brake on or off? When using a chainsaw, you should always start it with the chain brake engaged so the chain does not move.
