Worked like a charm. Made a perfect circle for a 9 inch pie crust. Even I couldn’t mess it up. Tossed it in the top of the dishwasher and it cleaned up perfectly.

I have made so many more pies with this! We have a small kitchen with very little space and this keeps everything so contained. Worth the money since my family loves pies, not cakes.

I got tired of cleaning up flour everywhere when I made pie, so when I saw this, I had to have it. It got rid of 75% of the mess and the crust is sized perfectly.

I started making pies about 2 years ago and enjoy it -- except the messy counters and floors from rolling the crust. Usually I am leery of gadget suggestions based on my viewing and buying history; but when this one popped up, I was intrigued.

I floured both surfaces inside of the bag, threw a little flour on the top and bottom of the pie crust disc, put the dough disc in the center of the bag, zipped it up, and rolled it out using a heavy marble rolling pin—flipping over occasionally to ensure even thickness. Occasionally, I unzipped it, pulled the bag away from the dough and rubbed both sides with a little more flour.

The silicone is soft and easy to work with. Though not transparent, I could see the dough rolling out and quickly taking the form of the 12-inch circle. The edges of the crust didn't tear and I easily transferred it from the bag to the pie pan.

The silicone bag cleaned up with water and my Norwex kitchen cloth. The rolling pin was spotless. Afterward, I stepped back and looked at the kitchen. No flour on the counters (a little on the floor because I always get crazy sprinkling over the dough—my fault).

So grateful that Amazon made this “suggestion".

I've been making homemade pizza and pie crust for several years and rolling it out on a breadboard with a wood rolling pin and usually had a mess to clean up afterwards. I saw this product on the OXO website and ordered it from Amazon.com. I highly recommend this product as now I don't have a big mess when rolling out pizza or pie crust. A must know tip: ensure you 'flour' both sides of the bag lightly prior to putting in the dough for rolling. Otherwise dough may stick to the bag and you have a mess. If dough is too sticky, then add flour to dough. Another tip is to push air out of bag and use a wood rolling pin. Roll from center out. You can reshape your pie/pizza crust in the pan or pie plate. I use a wet paper towel to wipe out bag/clean after each use. I bought one for each of my son's families as a gift and they think it's great too. I recommend this product.

I seem to have a wonky eye for shaping my pie crusts. This is the perfect assist for my making my crusts. The shaped dough also comes out of the silicone bag easily, so I don't break it.

Very easy to use. This was my first time using the OXO silicone rolling bag, so I lightly floured both sides of my dough disk placed it in the center and zipped the bag leaving an inch unzipped as it did trap air inside. Dough rolled out easily and the markings made it easy to see the size being rolled to. The dough did not stick at all and transfer to the pie plate was simple. Saved time not having to clean up a floured tabled and floor! Cleaning the bag was a breeze and dried it with a dish towel. The OXO bag sure made my pie making experience much more easier and fun.

Used this for two pies yesterday...Pros: I didn't have to cover my counter top with flour, the dough rolled out well and did not stick. Con: The zipper broke with the first pie. I'm keeping it because there is no problem using it without a zipper. I only deducted one "Over All" star for the zipper breaking, but as I said the zipper isn't really needed. I deducted one star for "Easy to clean" because the zipper is a plastic zipper with cloth attachment, you can't really dry it and put away. I hung it on two hangers separated so the cloth part could dry. 5 Stars for "Easy to Use" because it really is, I sprinkled a tiny bit of flour and spread it around on the inside before adding the dough, flattened it a bit with hands, cover and roll (no messy flour to clean up on the counter, or floor:)). Not sure if I needed to sprinkle a little flour inside, but old habits are hard to break. One star for "Durability" for the zipper only. I'd recommend this for the ease of use, but just don't bother with the zipper.

Easy to use, moderately easy to clean. Love the no-mess on counters or cutting boards.

5.0 out of 5 stars Time saver!

I had a plastic version of this that came with a pie kit, but it finally decided to split after many uses. It was great, except for durability and size. I have a gluten allergy and tend to bake most of my desserts at home - including pies, which can be tricky without a pie bag because the consistency of gluten-free dough can crumble a little more than normal dough.

I use deep-dish 9-inch pie tins that I brought back with me from the States, and most standard pie bags are too small to accommodate. This one however is perfect if I roll it out all the way to the zipped seam! Saves me the time of having to squish the pie dough after rolling it.

The silicone material seems very durable, but the zipper area seems a little more difficult to clean in comparison to my last model. But overall, I love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good

I bought this having read positive reviews, but wouldn’t have been surprised if it proved to be one of those impulse buy gadgets you never use again! However, it has proved incredibly useful, and does exactly what I hoped. I have never been able to roll such perfect circles before, and wish I’d had this years ago.

4.0 out of 5 stars Takes the pain out of rolling out - not so easy to clean

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 29, 2020

This bag is very easy to use - and one can roll out with a minimum amount of flour / icing sugar compared to rolling out on a table / work surface.
That would be all brilliant - if not every grain of sugar, salt, nut or other debris wouldn’t stick to it like glue - making cleaning it not as quick as one would wish.
Nevertheless, good gadget, especially for rolling marzipan - a breeze to deposit on the cake.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of my favourite ‘gadgets’

This is a great, inexpensive tool for anyone wishing to roll pastry. If you lightly dust the silicone with a little flour the pastry won’t stick and you can transfer the pastry easily directly on to your baking dish. The measurements printed on the silicone allow you to roll to the correct size. If you keep the mate well dusted you don’t have to wash it after each use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use

Excellent, easy to use, no more messy worktops and flour all over the floor. No hassle to clean, just put in the dishwasher very happy with this.
