Is Kim k and Pete Davidson together?

In a recent episode of Hulu‘s The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian explained the reason why she thinks “hot girls” fall for Pete Davidson, whom she split up with in August after nine months of dating.

The footage, which was filmed back in February when the two were still together, shows the reality star talking about her then-boyfriend. “Pete has the best heart. I feel like people, they have this, like, idea of him that he dates all these hot girls. And he does. But he’s just the sweetest, most thoughtful person,” she said. The interview followed with scenes of Kardashian looking for gifts to buy for Davidson while she was in Milan, Italy.

While they broke up in August, the SKIMS founder and the comedian seem to be on good terms, with the 41-year-old calling Davidson “a cutie” in an interview with Interview Magazine last month. “He’s literally such a good person, they don’t really make them like him anymore. I’m excited for what he has coming up,” she stated.

Aside from Kardashian, Davidson has been involved with Ariana Grande, Kaia Gerber, Margaret Qualley and more in the past.

Kim Kardashian is single and ready to mingle! A source tells ET that following the news of her split from Pete Davidson, the SKIMS founder is keeping up with the dating scene.  

“Kim is definitely open to dating again and her friends and family would love to set her up and think it's so fun,” the source says.  

Earlier this month, Kim, 41, and Pete, 28, ended their relationship after nine months of dating. The source adds that The Kardashians star is keeping it together, despite her new relationship status.  

"Kim is doing surprisingly well since her breakup with Pete,” the source adds. “She has been relying on her family when needed and leaning on them for support. She's fully submerging herself into work to keep herself busy and keep her mind off of the breakup.” 

The Saturday Night Live alum, however, is not holding up the same. “Pete is bummed, but he is trying to stay focused and positive. He has the utmost respect for Kim, her kids and the family, he wants to maintain a healthy relationship with all of them,” the source says. 

The source adds, “Kim's kids enjoyed Pete's company, but they aren't heartbroken over the breakup, especially since Pete was away filming towards the end.” 

One person who is celebrating the news is Kim’s ex-husband, Kanye "Ye" West.

“Kanye is over the moon about the breakup,” the source says about the rapper, who spent the duration of Kim and Pete’s relationship publicly voicing his thoughts about the pair. “Since day one, he was hoping that they would not work out.”  

The news of Kim and Pete’s split broke on Aug. 6. At the time, a source told ET that the “spark faded” between the pair. Since then, Kim has been spotted during a family trip to Idaho. Pete was recently seen smiling as he returned to work on the set of Wizards.

RIP, Kete. Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have officially called it quits roughly nine months into their relationship. 

Absolutely no one had this pair on their celebrity couple bingo card, yet, eight months after the reality star filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West, Kardashian started a new romance with the Saturday Night Live star. 

When reports first surfaced that the pair were seeing each other following Kardashian’s first hosting stint on Saturday Night Live, it was extremely hard to believe but so, so meme-able. Still, the pairing really grew on us as the couple got more serious. 

Here’s the complete timeline of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, in case you’re having trouble keeping up with this one.

2019

January: Four months after Davidson made fun of Kanye West’s controversial SNL appearance during a bit on Weekend Update, West, Kardashian, and Davidson are spotted at Kid Cudi’s birthday party. Timothée Chalamet was there too!

2021

February: Reports emerge that West and Kardashian are inching towards divorce after six years of marriage. On February 19, TMZ breaks the news that Kardashian had filed for divorce. 

October 9: Kardashian and Davidson share a kiss during a Saturday Night Live skit about Jasmine and Aladdin on October 9.

The pair are photographed holding hands a few weeks later—on October 29—on a roller coaster at Knott’s Scary Farm in Buena Park, California. You can see the pics here. People reported at the time that they were at the Halloween event with Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. Barker, of course, knows Davidson through their mutual friend Machine Gun Kelly. Us Weekly reports that other friends were in attendance as well. 

In an episode of The Kardashians that aired in June 2022, the reality star confirmed that she made the first move after picking up a “vibe” during their SNL sketch. “So a few days later, I called the producer at SNL and was like, ‘Hey, do you have Pete's number? And they were like, ‘Yeah.’” Initially, Kardashian had no interest in a relationship. She said, “I was just thinking, ‘Heard about this BDE, need to get out there.’”

November: Though the date could have been completely innocent (roller coasters are scary! sometimes people hold hands!), the pair cause a stir when they are reportedly spotted having dinner in Davidson’s hometown, Staten Island on November 2. A source told Page Six that Kardashian “is intrigued” by Davidson: “She likes him.”

Kanye West must’ve heard that Kardashian is hanging out with Davidson, because he starts discussing wanting her back. On his November 4 appearance on the Drink Champs podcast, the rapper repeatedly refers to Kardashian as his wife and suggested their divorce hasn’t officially happened. “SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off,” West said, per People. “And I ain’t never even seen the papers, we’re not even divorced.” 

West continues to discuss reuniting with his ex-wife throughout November 2021.

On November 17, this happened:

It looks like we have confirmation! The couple is spotted holding hands once again and a source tells E! Online that they’re exclusive on November 19. 

“They are really happy and seeing where it goes,” the source said. “Pete has told her he doesn’t want to see anyone else.” Kardashian reportedly feels the same, with the source continuing, “She is telling some people they aren’t super serious but she isn’t seeing anyone else…. She’s trying to not make a big deal about it but is super into him…. Kim is smitten over him and it’s very exciting to her.” 

Another source tells People that Davidson has taken to calling Kardashian “my girl” and that she “loves the attention.”

“He’s exactly what Kim needed after her divorce—someone to make her laugh and just have a fun time with,” the magazine reported on November 29. “The end of her marriage was a very dark time for her and Pete has been the best antidote.”

They added, “He’s flying back and forth and spending more time in Los Angeles when he can to see Kim. He’s so into her and is always ‘my girl’ this and ‘my girl’ that.”

December: Davidson and Kardashian are spotted on a rare Saturday night off for the comedian. The pair was photographed heading into a showing of Spider-Man: No Way Home at a local theater in Davidson’s hometown of Staten Island, per Page Six. Scott Disick and his friend Chris Reda were also in attendance.

On December 22, Davidson is photographed driving around Beverly Hills in Kardashian’s Rolls-Royce (check out the photos here, via the Daily Mail), despite recent reports that the pair would not be spending Christmas together. “She had a good trip to New York,” a source told People. “Pete took Kim to some of his favorite places. She had fun. Kim is celebrating Christmas with the kids and won’t see Pete.”

These reports conflict with statements sources gave E! News earlier in the month. Those sources claimed Davidson was invited to Kris Jenner’s Christmas party. “She’s really excited about having him around and Kris is already obsessed with him,” the source told E! News on December 18. “The whole family is a fan of Pete’s and would love to spend a holiday with him.”

2022

January: In early January, the pair takes off for a highly publicized vacation in the Bahamas. In Kardashian’s Vogue cover interview, which was published in February 2022, the reality star recalled changing her number in order to take herself off the grid. 

“I was in the Bahamas, and the people I was with said, ‘We’re on fucking vacation. We haven’t been on vacation in a long time.’ And then they threw their phones in the ocean,” she said, possibly referencing Davidson. “I was like, ‘What? What? What? Am I allowed to do that?’”

Back in the States, the pair are spotted holding hands while picking up Pizza at Jon & Vinny’s in Los Angeles on Tuesday, January 11, before grabbing ice cream at a local drugstore. You can see the photo here.

February: The “what are we?” conversation has happened! For the first time since being linked in October 2021, Davidson calls Kim Kardashian his girlfriend publicly. While chatting with Kay Adams, host of People (The TV Show!), about his upcoming Super Bowl commercial, he opened up about life in the public eye.

“Well, I don’t really have Instagram—I don’t have Instagram or Twitter or any of that stuff. So, most of my daily life is getting into cars and showing up to a set,” Davidson said. “Or, if I’m off, I just either hang with my friends or chill with my girlfriend inside. So I don’t do much,” he continued, referring to Kardashian with the title.

Now that that’s settled, Pete is maybe kinda possibly looking at getting his own place in Los Angeles Having recently made the move from Staten Island to Brooklyn, he sees picking up a West Coast pad as the next logical move, according to a source who spoke with Entertainment Tonight. “He has a ton of friends and work in Los Angeles. Even though New York is home, he has been digging the bicoastal vibe. He is into whatever gives him more time with Kim,” the source said. “They are enjoying the pace they’re going at right now. Kim is so busy, has a big family, her businesses, and still dealing with her divorce from Kanye.”

On February 13, Pete and Kim turn up the PDA. Just before Valentine's Day, the two shared a sweet kiss while out to dinner in New York City. Page Six has the pictures of the couple’s first public smooch since they were spotted holding hands on October 2021. 

The Staten Island native is reportedly “going out of his way” to make it clear that he and Kim are not just a fling—which apparently means a lot of facetime with her family. (He even sent Khloé Kardashian flowers on V-Day.)

“Kim and Pete have gotten even closer in the last few weeks. Pete has been going out of his way to connect more with Kim's family in his own subtle ways,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “He wants to show them who he really is and have the family get to know him better. He wants the family to know that it’s not just a fling between him and Kim and that it is way deeper than that.”

They added, “He has been trying to establish his own individual relationship with them.”

April: Pete and Kim make their red-carpet debut at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 30.

Around the same time, it was reported that Davidson also has a new tattoo dedicated to Kim and her children. In photos published by Page Six, Davidson was seen with the letters “KNSCP” on his neck, most likely representing the first initials of Kardashian and her children; North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. 

May: A few days later, the pair walk the red carpet at the 2022 Met Gala on May 2.

While Kardashian spent 14 hours dying her hair milky blonde for the event, Davidson didn’t follow suit until May 27, when he was photographed with a shower cap over his bleached hair. On May 29 the reality star debuted their new matching hair on Instagram Stories:

June: The pair are reportedly considering moving in together as they reach the seven-month mark (we can’t believe it either). “Their relationship continues to grow,” a source told Us Weekly at the top of June. “They’re very secure with their relationship and talk future plans and moving in together. They’re looking forward to vacationing together this summer and having romantic alone time. He just wants to make her happy and is making up for not being able to go with her to Kourtney’s wedding.”

August: Alas, it was not meant to be. After nine months of dating, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson call it quits in the first week of August, according to E! News. A source says their busy schedules made their long-distance relationship “really difficult to maintain” but they have “a lot of love and respect” for one another.
