Mini game anniversary edition how to connect to TV

Situation:

The power LED on the console is lit but there is no image on the television screen.

Additonal Information:

• If the POWER Button is in the ON position but the power LED is unlit, click here.
• If the screen goes dark after several minutes of game play, click here.

What to Do:

1. Power down the TV or monitor, and power down the console by ensuring that the POWER Button is in the OFF position.
2. Unplug the HDMI cable from the console and from the TV or monitor.
3. Unplug the AC adapter from the wall outlet and the USB cable from the console.
4. Check the serial number on the bottom of the console.
   • Consoles sold in Europe will have the serial number prefix "CEE" followed by nine digits.
   • Any other serial number prefix indicates the console is from another region.

What is the serial number prefix for your console?

Serial number prefix is "CEE" Serial number prefix is NOT "CEE"

1. Check for any signs of physical damage; i.e. nicks, kinks, frayed cables, etc.
   • If either the HDMI or USB cable is damaged, replacing them with a new one may resolve the problem.
2. Plug the HDMI cable into the back of the console and then into an HDMI port on the TV or monitor.
   • Ensure the HDMI connectors are pushed in all the way and are not loose.
   • If you have verified that the original HDMI cable works on your console, and you later want to use a different cable, ensure it does not exceed 10 feet (3 metres) in length.
3. Plug the USB cable back into the AC adapter (or another USB-compatible 5V/1A (5W) output), then plug the USB cable into the console and the AC adapter into the wall outlet.

   • Important:

     • We have found that blank screen issues can be caused by using an underpowered AC adapter or power source.
     • If you are powering on the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System console using an after-market AC adapter, a TV, or other device, make sure the power supply is a USB-compatible 5V/1A (5W) output.
4. Power on the TV or monitor, then power on the console by ensuring that the POWER Button is in the ON position with the LED lit.
5. Select the appropriate HDMI input on your TV or monitor.
6. If the image is still not displayed on the TV screen, try the following:
   • Use a different HDMI port on the TV.
   • Use a different HDMI cable.
   • Use a different TV or monitor.

Situation Not Resolved:

If the issue persists, the console will need to be repaired.

I had a spare CCTV monitor that I wasn't using which has RCA inputs and it works perfectly with this little NES console clone. The quality of the console, controllers, and even the included cable is pretty low, but with a price at around $25, that's pretty much expected.The games are a fun throwback to when NES what "the thing" in gaming, and I enjoy being able to play them. The two controllers are responsive, although the cable lengths are pretty short. Power supply is a small little usb power brick with a miniUSB cable that connects the power supply to the faux NES.Pretty satisficed with this console for what it is, definitely worth the price.

Bought to occupy the kids (who are 5) they love it. Downside is that you have to hit reset to change games, and it’s really the same games over again. Was missing some of my faves (no PAC man😏)

I’m gonna be honest, I was VERY skeptical/nervous about buying this because it seemed like for every good review there were 2 mediocre or bad reviews. I researched all the different sellers and ended up landing on this one and decided just to give it a shot.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my kids. I just tested it today because I wanted to make sure it worked before giving it as a gift. It was a bit finicky when I turned it on but a little twist of the video cord fixed that issue. Video quality is JUST as it was on the original 8-bit NES games from the 80’s/early 90’s. No Chinese like I read in many other posts…it’s all in English and there are a lot of repeats, but all of the games functioned perfectly. One controller is used for selection of the games/game play, the other controller is only used for player 2 game play. Controller quality is good…no issues. My only minor gripe is I don’t see Mike Tyson’s punchout on it(my favorite childhood game)…the list they show on the listing is exactly what you get, just as advertised. Many classics are included that I can’t wait to play with my kids. Overall seems like a great little system for the price.

Buy the Nintendo mini for the extra money. Lots of garbage filler games and ridiculous names made finding old favorites difficult. No tecmo bowl football or punch out less than happy with purchase

I returned the 1st unit - couldn’t get it to load. It’s a cheap knockoff. Definitely not giftable. Despite what the manufacturer says, the RCA cables are not compatible with many TVs. I had to research this on YouTube and ended up getting an HDMI cable and a USB splitter for my TV. After that, it worked fine. I’m glad I bought it on Amazon instead of at the State Fair where I 1st saw it.

Has a lot of games but a lot of foreign material. A lot of games are horrible but there were some good title among the trash games. I’d prefer they took the crap games and made the list less. I would not purchase again.

The games are int in alphabetical order without a listing if what’s what. Some games are named odd and difficult to understand for kids as a lot of the menus and descriptions are in what looks to be Chinese (could be some other language but it they are certainly not readable).

I am quite disappointed.
