Sets
Most of the sets are based on Spider Queen's conquest and the events that took place after "Revenge of the Spider Queen". The Cloud Bike and White Dragon Horse Jet sets are also featured along side sets based on the Revenge of the Spider Queen storyline, despite neither making an appearance in the special.
This was also the first set wave to introduce Tang, Macaque, and Lady Bone Demon in minifigure forms, who were absent from the first two Monkie Kid set waves despite them appeared before Season 2.

- Showrunner, Villads Spangsberg, revealed several sneak peeks of "Revenge of the Spider Queen", "Sleep Bug", "Pig Pong Panic", and "This is the End!" while the episodes were in production.[8][9][10][11]
- The season begins with a 44-minute special.[12]
- This is the first season to be aired in English before reaching China, aside from the special, which was released in Mandarin more than a month before the special would air in English.
- In Hong Kong, the season is titled "Monkie Kid: The Bone Demon Arises" (悟空小俠之白骨精崛起篇).
