I had the same question regarding these 4 rubber pieces on the crisper. Rubber. Heat. Food. Kind of made me wonder. I bought the air fryer for healthy cooking, but seems to me that cooking with rubber in the mix is anti-healthy. There is even a warning on my air fryer (Gourmia 2 quart compact air fryer, model# GAF236) regarding the initial "Hot plastic smell during the first few uses." However, and oddly to me, absolutely zero mention of these rubber "feet" in MY user manual. I'm about to use this thing for the first time, with the rubber feet put back on the crisper, because I took them off initially. We will see how it goes. I think if Gourami truly wants to advertise "easy, HEALTHY, and delicious meals", they need to realize people aren't idiots and need some mention of these rubberized feet on the crisper. Seems obvious to me, but maybe I'm an idiot. Show
