Original review: July 19, 2020

In Feb 2020, I purchased 4 tickets for the Cincinnati Music Festival that was supposed to occur in July 2020. The concert was cancelled in May 2020, due to the current Corona virus pandemic. According to the website, those who purchased tickets for the 2020 concert can use those same tickets for the 2021 concert.

I contacted TicketsAtWork.com via email and requested an explanation about what they were going to do about the Cincinnati Music Festival being cancelled because Ticketmaster was offering their customers the option of a refund or attending the 2021 concert. TicketsAtWork.com replied with a general email stating that refunds would be processed within 45 days (instead of the normal 30 days) due to so many cancellations being processed. They ended the email by stating that if an event is postponed then they would not be issuing refunds. The Cincinnati Music Festival is an annual concert. The concert is not being postponed if the organizer is allowing the 2020 guests to attend the 2021 concert at the same exact timeframe that they always have the concert. The 2020 concert has been cancelled, not postponed. I waited 45 days and noticed that I still had not received a refund.

Then, I called TicketsAtWork and spoke with Vanessa on July 6, 2020. I told her that I was inquiring about my refund for the cancelled Cincinnati Music Festival. She stated that they had not received any information that the concert had been cancelled or postponed. She said that she would submit a request for a refund and that it would take up to 14 days to get a response. I received an email response from TicketsAtWork on July 19, 2020 in which they indicated that I would not receive a refund because the concert has been postponed to 2021. Pushing off an annual festival for an entire year isn't a postponement, no matter how fervently promoters would like the public to believe it is.

When I purchased the 4 tickets, I agreed to attend the concert on July 24-25, 2020. Once the organizer changed the date, they are not allowed to not provide the option for a refund. The services that I was promised on the date indicated on the ticket are no longer available. The organizer and/or ticket broker does not have the right to keep my money for a service that was not provided as promised. We are also in the middle of a pandemic in which people are losing their life from this infection. No one is guaranteed to make it to July 2021, and it is unfair and unethical to hold my money. TicketsAtWork doesn’t seem to care about this pandemic that we are all experiencing together and the fact that people are facing unimaginable financial hardship.

Even politicians have gotten involved: Two Democratic members of Congress wrote a letter to the Ticketmaster that read, in part, "With Americans weathering the brutal and continuing impacts of this global crisis, your decision to confiscate their money is reprehensible and should be reversed immediately." Ticketmaster then changed their process in the following manner: Beginning May 1, any events that have been rescheduled with new dates will be eligible for refunds. From that point on, refunds will be available for 30 days beginning from the announcement of the rescheduled date.

Along with Ticketmaster, EventBrite began allowing their customers to receive a refund for rescheduled and cancelled concerts if they made the request within a certain timeframe. Also, the hotel room that was booked under a “non-refundable” category was also refunded back to me. Organizations understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic and it is truly unethical to not refund a customer’s money. Job loss is at an all time high because businesses had to close for several weeks.

As a 3rd party we have a manager working on this case to see if the broker can get a refund. They have informed us that the event is postponed for another date but we are currently checking to see if we can get this concern resolved for you especially during this situation. We will keep you posted on what we find out.

They had rescheduled The Cher concert due to 19 to October of 2020. They now have postponed that also. I surmise it will not be rescheduled. If in the event it is rescheduled, I would not be comfortable going. I have not been to any event nor out in public (besides my work) since March of 2020. I contacted Tickets at Work to tell them of my dilemma. They advised that The Cher concert is still under review and at this time, no refunds will be issued if and UNTIL she is officially cancelled. I've already sat on these tickets for well over a year now. Due to the current state of affairs, any customer requesting a refund, should be granted a refund. My next step would be to contact The Attorney General.

During the coronavirus situation this company is refusing to provide refunds on tickets. I wouldn’t buy any tickets from this company ever again. Book directly through the places you are going. It’s not worth saving money when they won’t give your money back during a pandemic. Horrible customer service.

Tickets at Work stole my money. $240.32. I booked a hotel through them. Had to cancel due to COVID. Our concert was canceled and parents who were staying at the hotel can't travel outside their state due to their federal jobs. I called Hampton on June 29th. Said yes can cancel and refund but tickets at work had to do it. Called tickets at work 06/29. Could not get through!!! Called again 07/3. Finally talked to a male. He said he will have a credit on my account for me to use. To call back and reschedule the hotel anytime. That he canceled the room at Hampton. That I would receive an email in 2-3 business days. No email. I used their contact us via email. So I did basically was told no money/credit back. Non refundable or non reschedule.

I called today to tickets at work. Rep says same thing email says but also read the previous rep's notes that say I would get a credit!!! She said their dept. Declined the credit!!! She said they sent me an email. They did not!!! I would have been at my hotel if I did receive one just to chill out. Now my hotel is a no show. 07/13-07/15. I called Hampton. Let them know what's going on. They said ticketsatwork has to cancel. That I cannot. They would be happy to work with them. Ticketsatwork keeps saying their client denied allowing me to reschedule or refund me. Completely opposite of what their client told me... Ticketsatwork is just a fraud in my opinion. Waiting on a supervisor call. If it is not resolved I'll take to my HR dept. To advise to cancel connections with them, send BBB report, and leave bad (but accurate) reviews. I am extremely angry with ticketsatwork.

Beginnings of the year 2020 I purchased tickets (2) for Disney afterhours through TicketsatWork for May 25th 2020. Due to the pandemic and unfortunate circumstances of the world, Disney canceled all after hours events and confirmed in all their platforms that money for those type of tickets was going to be refunded. After weeks of not getting the money back I reached out to Disney thinking that the problem was on their end and I was told that they refunded everything/gave the credit back if it was a third party and that my money was on ticketsatwork end. I then called ticketsatwork and was told that they had to summit a request for the refund... Then waited for about a week when I was told it should only take about 72 hours but I wanted to give them a chance, I called back after the week just for them to tell me that they have to submit the request again because the first one was submitted the wrong way...

I then waited another week to call which brought me to today's date 07/16/20. I call ticketsatwork and was told that they couldn't do anything because I had linked my tickets to my disney experience app (stupid excuse) that I had to call disney once again to get the refund. I then call disney for the 100th time to ask and was told once again, "You paid the third party. You need to contact them." Yes! I called ticketsatwork again and NOW was given a different story. The girl who helped me basically said, "WE CAN'T GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK BUT YOU CAN USE THE TICKETS FROM NOW UNTIL A CERTAIN DATE IN 2020."

I called disney again to confirm that there is no such a thing when it comes to special event tickets. I can completely say that I have been robbed $200 & something dollars that I paid and have records of by ticketsatwork. This has been a terrible. It makes me so upset that after everything we have been through this year companies like this one are dealing with customers this way and just taking their money... unbelievable! I'm heart broken and with 200 & something less in my pocket.

I have been completely disappointed with the way the refunds have been handled with these NBA tickets. I cannot get anyone directly whether I call or chat. Richard contacted me to resolve the issue. He definitely made me feel as if I were important as a consumer and he did resolve my issue. He has also made me feel much better about the situation and I would feel confident using TAW for future events/trips.

Original review: July 10, 2020

I purchased Disney Park Hoppers and Universal Tickets in early March before these parks were shut down. Once all of the cancellations started (fireworks, parades, Halloween party, dinner shows, etc), it was not feasible for my group to take the trip. I was advised by TAW that it was approved for me to get a refund for these tickets. That was on 6/23/20. The conversation on that day was sketchy and I was unsure whether the refund would happen or not. The person I talked to did not sound confident in her answers, kept placing me on hold and was vague in explaining the process.

I called back on 6/29/20 and asked if I could have some sort of verification that the refund was processing. I was sent an email dated 6/29/20 that my request was approved. So, was it approved on the 23rd or 29th? Is this even approved or did they just send an email to appease me? I have left messages with no return call since I don't even receive updates that this is being worked on. I don't feel confident at all that they are processing this request and will be sure to advise my employer of the service provided by this company. I have had no other issues with cancelling anything else related to this trip (AirBNB, flight, car, etc). This was my first time purchasing discounted tickets and will definitely never do so again.

I booked 3 rooms at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas back in March, ensuring that these were refundable if I had to cancel for any reason. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 I am having to cancel the trip. I reached out yesterday, which was within the cancellation period, to request a refund. I was told that there would be no problem issuing a full refund and that I would absolutely get my money back. It was only AFTER the rooms were cancelled that the representative told me that I would be receiving my "refund" in the form of a voucher. This is unacceptable. I had confirmed and re-confirmed that these would be refundable and now, during a pandemic, I'm being told they're not.

Meanwhile, The Cosmopolitan IS offering refunds for customers who booked directly with them. I was told that a supervisor would contact me the next day to try and resolve this, but by this evening no one had called so I called them back instead. I was finally able to speak to a supervisor, but they are still refusing to issue a refund back to the original payment method. I was also told that the voucher "refund" was only recently implemented, but was not at the time I purchased the tickets. This company is not trustworthy. It doesn't seem like they're very interested in retaining customers, only the initial money they can make off of them. Issuing a voucher forces me to spend my money with this company, which I will not be using again after this experience. Going forward, I will book directly with the hotel or use a more reputable company.

Terrible experience and it’s not right. First I thought I was just reserving the room and then realized they took my money. I called to have room cancelled because of the protesting and curfews and they never told me how the refund would work. I had to email them for them to tell me it would take 30-45 days. What? For refund? And I still don’t have refund and it’s been close to 45 days. This policy is not right and it didn’t take them that long to take my money.

Updated on 09/01/2020: I wrote a review almost two months ago and received this response from the company then never heard from them again. "We appreciate the opportunity to speak. As a 3rd party we have been reaching out to the partners to see if they are willing to provide a refund. We apologize about this matter but the venue has postponed the show to the following year. We are still trying to see if the broker can obtain a refund from the seller and we will keep you posted." Their customer service is horrible and I am extremely disappointed in the way they handled this matter.

Original Review: I purchase tickets for the Sea Hear Now Festival in Asbury Park, NJ through Ticketsatwork.com in March right before the COVID pandemic. This festival has since been postponed from September 2020 to September 2021 due to COVID restrictions/precautions. I am unable to attend the dates for next year and when I contacted Ticketsatwork they refused to issue a refund stating that the event is set to take place at a later date and the tickets are still valid.

I explained that Sea Hear Now is issuing refunds to fans who purchased tickets through them directly and are unable to attend the new dates, but they still will not refund my money. I reached out to Sea Hear Now to let them know what a disgrace this is and they state they are not even familiar with this company and therefore cannot be of any assistance. It's a shame that TicketsatWork is taking advantage of this global pandemic to profit for themselves. I will never purchase anything through their site again and I will spread the word to everyone possible.

Richard reached out to me and took care of the situation.

Original review: July 3, 2020

First off, I am an essential front-line worker at 2 local hospitals. I am a Respiratory Therapist and I have been on the front-line during this whole pandemic. My family and I were hoping that this pandemic would ease up so in April of 2020, we decided that we would go on vacation to Florida and take the family to Universal. I have used Tickets at Work in the past and absolutely loved the discounts, so I thought that I would try again. I spent a great deal on 6 adult and 3 children's tickets.

Well when the pandemic picked up again and Florida became a "hotspot", we decided best to cancel our trip. I have 2 children who have asthma and this would not be in their best interest for their health. So I called Tickets At Work to request a refund due to underlying circumstances. I sat on hold for the better part of an hour and was told no several times, I escalated the call and the person I spoke to was very rude and unprofessional making me feel unimportant and that my family's health and welfare was of no concern to them; and that all they care about is their profit and their bottom line with no concern about their customer's needs or concerns.

Original Review: TicketsatWork sounds great but it is NOT worth it. I have been trying constantly for 3 months to get reimbursed for Disney tickets. Avoid the headache and just buy direct from the vendor! This is a nightmare! And not only my nightmare but 5 of my other family members that bought tickets as well! Horrible.

We booked a hotel stay, ensuring we picked a refundable room type as there were questions on whether we’d be able to travel at that time. 5 days prior to the deadline to cancel, we reached out through the form on their website, requesting a cancellation and refund per the booking. Ticketsatwork issued a “voucher” rather than a refund. I called to have a refund issued as I requested but was told that I “have already accepted the voucher”. The representative stated they would submit a request for the voucher to be cancelled and a refund to be issued but that vouchers aren’t able to be cancelled once accepted (which I never did). I was told I would hear back within 24 hours. At this point, I’m done with website. I would recommend they be avoided at all costs.

Original review: June 28, 2020

The amount of savings I received on Walt Disney World annual passes was not worth giving up Disney customer service. I bought a total of 3 passes in February, after 4 cancelled trips I can’t get a refund. WDW has changed the policy to offer full refunds, but since I purchased through Tickets At Work I was referred back to them. Even with Covid 19, I received an email reply that the passes are non refundable. I am out over $3000, and it’s disgusting. I understand policies, but WDW is CLOSED and we are traveling from NJ. I was even willing to take credit or a different ticket. It’s unreal that this company cannot refund tickets during a pandemic. Next time, buy direct! I’ve learned my lesson.

Tickets at Work has a no refund, no exchange policy. For an event where you know nothing will keep you from attending, this company offers fair pricing. During a worldwide pandemic, where events can not proceed as planned, it appears this company is focused on keeping people's money instead of helping their customer get funds refunded. Bottom line, when times get tough, through no fault of anyone, true colors start to show. Unfortunately, I feel TAW is focused on money and not overly concerned of the well being of the ticket holder. I am not happy. Think twice before dealing with this company.

The customer purchased Santana concert tickets from our Preferred Access section on the website. These tickets comes from a trusted broker and under the terms of sale that was agreed upon these vouchers are considered a final sale. The concert, due to the Covid-19 situation, is postponed and we deeply apologize that a refund cannot be provided at this moment. We recently reached out to the broker to see about a refund, but they confirmed that the show is postponed and will not be able to issue a refund. We will definitely check periodically for this guest with the seller to see for any future updates or changes. Also, if the artist and/or venue decides to cancel the show then the guest will definitely get a full refund.

Original review: June 25, 2020

I bought my Disneyland tickets on Feb 12. Clearly, this was before covid shut Disneyland down. The expiration date on my tickets say Jan 12 2021. We were supposed to go for spring break and then thought we could try for the summer. With today's announcement, there's no way we'll be going on this trip of a lifetime if there's no parades, no fireworks for my kids now in the summer. I was even thinking of going around the holidays but with this reservation system going to be in place trying to get the school holiday days (like everyone else) makes me too stressed out. I don't want a refund. I don't want my money back. I just want my ticket expiration date to be extended.

My issue is TicketsatWork told me if I had bought the tickets on Feb 21 or later the tickets would of been good till 2022. Really? I missed a whole additional year by 11 days? The fact that they won't extend my expiration date is quite frankly BS. Had I of known at the time of buying the tickets, I would of waited the 11 days. We weren't going till April anyway. I would not recommend TicketsAtWork due to their unfriendliness, lack of communicating as to how they came up with Feb 21st and how that impacts people who bought tickets in the beginning of 2020 thinking they were going months later. You'd think I'm asking for my money back. I just want my expiration date to be pushed out like everyone else who bought tickets 11 days after me.

I purchased 9 Discovery Cove Tickets in Dec 2019 as Christmas gift. Our reservations were for June 7. I began requesting a refund due to COVID19 in April. My reservation was for 6/7/20. It is now 6/24/20 and I still have not received my refund. They continuously tell me their back office is working on it and they are waiting on a response from their partner (Discovery Cove). I finally decided to call Discovery Cove and they tell me that have not notes or information requesting a refund on my tickets. I have allowed plenty of time for resolution and I now have no choice but to contact the Better Business Bureau and an attorney. Buyer beware.

I am saddened to not recommend Tickets at Work. I've used this service for the last 4 years. It was a good service when it came to me buying show tickets, booking hotels etc., But when it came to getting a refund, getting a hold of them became impossible. I sent an email about getting my money back for a hotel I booked about 10 months ago. Due to the covid situation the hotel on Vegas is closed and is forecasted to be closed the days I booked.

The only email I received from them was one that said they would gladly refund me my money but I would have to pay the cancellation fee. I then replied with an email asking if even though I had no control over the pandemic, even though the hotel isn't open, and when I booked the hotel certain amenities and restaurants would be offered but are not because of closures I still had to pay cancellation fees. The hotel isn't even open plus the whole landscape changed. I wanted to know if it's still on me to eat up the cost. No response. It's been about a month and I've sent them numerous emails and no response. I think it's disrespectful and wrong. Don't think I'll be using this service ever again.

Company called within hours of this review being posted and provided a full refund. I am still unsure if I would recommend TAW considering how long it took to receive a full refund, and that I had to escalate it to posting on ConsumerAffairs.

I would not recommend purchasing tickets for any concert event from TicketsAtWork. I purchased tickets in December 2019 for a May 16 2020 concert (Sturgill Simpson @ MSG). Sturgill cancelled his tour on May 2. I would have expected a refund from TicketsAtWork within 30 days, because that's what Ticketmaster has pledged to do (the TAW tickets actually came funneled to me through Ticketmaster). It has been 50+ days and no refund yet. TAW even states on their website:

"Event Cancellation, Postponement, and other Event Changes.

Should an event be cancelled (and not rescheduled), or should a contingent event (e.g., a playoff game) not occur, you will receive a full refund (including any Preferred Access Ticket Fees) for your purchase." TAW emails me every 5-10 days and tells me that they are working on getting my refund, and that I don't need to reach out to them. Well, OK, just refund me $$$ already. It's gotten to the point where I have contacted my senator because this lengthy waiting time is just ludicrous. Don't use TicketsAtWork. It's that simple. Go directly through the venue if it's at all possible.

I purchased tickets for Coachella 2020 and I have had nothing but bad experiences in regards to it. When the event was supposed to happen in April, I was promised I would have the tickets by then. When the event was officially postponed to October, these tickets would carry over, but I have still received nothing from Tickets at Work. Now the event is officially cancelled for 2020, and they will not process a refund. I have called customer service numerous times and they have not been helpful in processing any refunds. I have still not even received the original tickets I was promised. Coachella themselves are offering refunds for the event and I am being refused. Horrible experience and probably will never use them again.

I purchased Kennedy Space center tickets for my family and my family from New Zealand who were here in late March 2020. Well everything closed the week we were in Orlando so we couldn't use the tickets. I have tried to call and get a refund since my family is now back in New Zealand and they said no as the tickets are valid until the end of the year. I said that my family is in New Zealand and they cannot use the tickets at this was a once in a lifetime visit. They said no. I said I purchased the tickets for $50 a person plus fees, you can currently buy the tickets for $30 and you receive a free ticket for the next year. Also several attractions are closed at KSC. I have talked to the ticket center at KSC and they are not even accepting coupons so we cannot in fact even use the tickets! This is ridiculous! Do not buy from them whatsoever.

I am so disappointed in the way this company has handled our travel cancellations. We had two hotel reservations for mid-June that we can't use now since the area we are travelling to is shut down to anyone non-essential. We were informed that we could not even change the reservations to a later date or transfer the reservation to an essential worker so that at least someone could use the hundreds of dollars that we've lost. We will not be using TicketsatWork again. We have been very satisfied with Hotels.com in the past and will be using them from now on for our hotel reservations.

Due to all the travel restriction by COVID we cancelled all our flights, hotels and rental car reservations. By all companies it was no problem (Hertz, BA, Hotels.com) except TicketsAtWork. Every 5 days we get any email that we have to wait another 5 days. It's like a scam. Don't understand why my employer is related to them. I will never use them again and I probably will never see the refund.

Richard ** was very helpful in getting me a refund. I’m still not happy with this company and will advise people not use them because I shouldn’t have had to resort to writing this review in order to get my funds released. Had I not written this review, would my funds still be held up? More than likely. So thank you, Richard. You were very helpful. I give you 5 stars for your help. Still give the company 1.

Original review: June 7, 2020

My employer promoted this site and had a wedding at Disneyland that I was to attend in May of 2020. I purchased tickets in the beginning of March that totaled out to be over $700. When COVID-19 hit, the wedding was cancelled so I reached out to this company for a refund. They told me all sales are final and no refunds would be issued. I called Disney. They were offering complete refunds that I would have gotten had I bought directly from them. (Which I should have done anyway since this site only saved me TWENTY dollars!) So I called this company back and demanded a refund since disney was issuing refunds.

The representative told me, "No refunds would be issued since disney is allowing people to use unused tickets until December 2020." I told her, "I’m not going to Disney because the wedding had been canceled and a new destination was picked." She told me her manager said disney is now extending the tickets to be able to be used until December 2021. If they don’t get used by then I’d be able to get a refund. Again, NOT going to Disney because the wedding has been relocated. And they want to hang my $700+ up for a year and 7 months?! I’m livid. The lady spoke to her manager who finally approved it. She said I’d see the refund in 30 days and that I'd receive an email within 10. I receive an email every 10 days saying my refund is delayed. Very disappointed in this company and I will be sure to tell my friends, family, and everyone at work not to use it and suggest my employer stop promoting it.

I am pleasantly surprised with the support I got from TicketsatWork. I booked Universal Orlando promotional tickets with them in January planning to be there at the Spring break with my kids. Obviously, COVID-19 cancelled our plans. I was initially pretty skeptical on the ability to get a full refund (expecting some kind of voucher). Nevertheless I called them and requested a refund. It took maybe a month and a half (which is totally fine with me) to get my money back. Every 5/10 days I was getting updates from the company. Long waiting period was completely reasonable these days. Good job, I will use them some other time.

I used TicketsatWork because my employer promotes them. If I had gone directly to the Red Sox site for my tickets, I could get a refund. Instead, I got an email about NBA tickets and that they would get back to me??? I did not even buy NBA tickets. Basically, I was sold tickets that the seller will get refunded (I emailed the Red Sox site to confirm.) but they also get to keep my money. Does that seem fair? So why would anyone want to use this company? You are better off going direct and bypassing this group. I am out A LOT of money and this was a gift for my young son. We are disappointed that we could not follow through with this trip but it is beyond my control. I am very disappointed that during this pandemic this is how companies do business.
