Revenge on someone who owes you money

In the 4th grade, I would sell Mentos to the kids at school for 1 dollar a roll (I would buy them for around 50 cents a roll). I had a direct payment method, and a pay later method, where the kids owed me a dollar, and then it doubled every day. Only one person did not pay me, and to this day, has not paid me.

From time to time, I will send him an amount that is an estimate of how much he owes me. The last time I messaged him, the figure I gave was $24380

I actually do not want to know how much money he owes me, but I would not be surprised if it surpasses the septillions

Besides beating the crap out of them what can you do?

thus far it has been calling every day asking for my money and then when he turns off his phone i've been bombarding it with long messages of "i will survive" and "i saw mommy kissing santa clause"

any other ideas???

how much money do they owe you? is this a really good friend, or someone you could live without having in your life?

How much money?

The method for extracting money are quite different depending on the amount.

Blow up their car/appartment/cat

I eat their food without asking (when my roomates owe me money).

"Hey, wered my chicken go?"
"You havnt paid me back yet, so I cant afford to buy food, so I eat yours!"

^^ thats a great idea!

(although if that rule applies, I think I owe my friend Deigo about a grand in all my snack mooching and videogame hogging visits)

Learn from your mistakes and don't lend this person anymore money.

Or, you could shit on their pillow.

Both work just fine.

Surprise him at his place of work.

Offer to take him out for lunch and stiff him with the bill

Find where he parks his car and cover it with those little office stickeys that say "I.O. *your name* 1 dollar" until you reach the amount of money he owes you.

^^^^Thats my fav.... and if he parks downtown or in a big lot it'll be hillarious when everyone sees his car covered in pink IOU's

I also say that.

I've tried in the past to help out numerous friends by temporarily loaning them money. I haven't seen a dime of it back.

So not only do I lose the money, they avoid me (to avoid paying it back), and I have also lost many friendships.

Cheers ... Ian

There's a saying out of one of Mario Puzo's (Godfather) novel, "Money and friendship boil in water." I think everyone gets ripped off at least once... you likely won't let it happen again anytime soon. Consider it the amount it cost to get rid of that friend - they'll never come looking for you soon!

Okay, posting someone's # is just gonna get YOU into more trouble than you need.

Is there any way you can find out his address using his cell #?

wow...so many drama cases on this board.

can't you deal with your own personal problems without spreading everything over a message board???

bizarre people.

Call his parents if you know them. I did that to an ex who owed me money, I didn't get the money back, but I know his mum gave him a lot of greif especially when I said I had filed a police report (which is true but not for the money for him breaking into my house and trying to steal my cat).

Is it the money you want, or the satisfaction of revenge? I'm quite happy making people miserable and losing the money.

There is no such saying in The Godfather.
(and it certainly wouldn't have read "boil in water." Perhaps it may have read "...are like oil and water" )

You might be confusing this with the scene in A Bronx Tale, where Sonny advises the kid on why he shouldn't bother chasing a buddy who owes him money. Right genre, wrong film.

(If I'm wrong I apologize, but having read The Godfather about 20 times (and seen the film even more) I don't think I am)

your threads are always too funny!

How do youscore weed?
I got raped at tonic, what should I do?
How do I get rid of my cock rash?

I say you find out where he lives and pulverize his ass with your cock rash.

My buddy owes me money from our trip to Miami this past March. He owes has got his debt down to $500 but has seemingly stopped paying it. He has a child and has to pay rent, so I have been lenient at times. On the odd occasion he buys Cavalli clothes, so I get peeved. But he does a lot of things for me, so I am not really angry. It's obvious he isn't going to pay it all in one shot, so I am going to work out a payment plan.

How do you trick someone into paying you back?

Here are the best ways to ask for money back:.
Don't get confrontational. ... .
Drop hints about needing money. ... .
Highlight your own financial situation. ... .
Ask for money back in writing. ... .
Be flexible about receiving money back. ... .
Add a sense of urgency. ... .
Ask them to cover your half of the bill. ... .
Ask their parents..

What do you say when someone owes you money?

You can say something like, "I was happy to give you that money last month to help out, but I was hoping you could pay me back before my rent is due." This reminds them that the money was given and acknowledges that the money was a loan, in case they had misinterpreted the loan as a gift.

Should I pay someone back?

You'll want to pay your family member or friend back as soon as you can afford to, and it will increase your credibility as a friend,” Wharton says. “If you show you're a trustworthy person, you won't jeopardize your relationship with this person over money.”
