TikTok adjust clip length not working

Ok so i don’t usually record my videos in app. I’m always uploading videos i took on my phone but I’ve noticed when i upload multiple videos... i have no way of trimming the clips AND Tiktok automatically picks how long each of my uploaded videos last and it’s super frustrating and literally tried searching google for the last hour and can’t find anything to help my situation nor anyone else having this problem??

It’s so annoying bc with whatever amount of time tiktok gives me for each uploaded clip I’m able to adjust WHERE in the video i want to play but i can’t choose how long each one will be like it’s just automatically chosen for me??

You can also adjust the order of the clips, by tapping and holding the clips that you want to change their place.

After selecting the clip that you want to edit, you can start adjusting the length on the slider.

To make the video shorter, you need to tap each of both corners of the slider.

When you tap on the corner, you’ll be able to slide and check the video length.

4.Tap on the “Post” button

After you’ve finished editing the clips, you need to tap on “Next” to apply changes.

Now on the pre-post page, you can edit the caption and add hashtags to the description.

When you finish adding your last touches, you need to tap on the “Post” button.

Then your new video will be published on TikTok.
