I was approved and paid my security deposit on August 31st, received my card September 20th....20 days later.

Was supposed to receive my Discover Secured within 2 Weeks...2 weeks is today so I'll see if they're true...

They sent me like 10 pre approval letters over two years and I would always apply and get denied. Then day before yesterday, I was somehow approved. I have no idea how, but I was getting aggravated by constantly getting pre approval letters then just getting denied. Hope this is some help to you.

I've always been instantly approved and given an instant credit card number that I would load into Samsung Pay. I applied for the Savor card on 3/19, received shipped email on 3/21. Should have it today or tomorrow

You can often request the card be expedited at no cost to you. Most people don't know to ask. If you already have a card from that issuer that might help your case if they put up a fight about it. I got my CSP expedited saying I was looking to book some travel in the near future and wanted the card for that since it is inherently a travel card.

I applied on September 5 and I got an email the next day saying it was on its way. It's the 13th still don't have my card the app says it will be here by September 27.

I was just approved yesterday I am so happy and excited after years since 23 instarted to rebuild my credit at 31 just turned I finally was approved after many years for my first high rate lol but NO deposit down I had got one for &300 but no deposit finally not a penny !

Did you receive your card already? If so, how long did you wait for the card to arrive in the mail? I got approved yesterday and the app says 28 Nov which i feel is a little too long

Hopefully that is the case with me, because I got approved for it july 6th, created 7th, and it still hasn;'t shipped but the estimated date is jul 20. So either they already shipped it or they are delaying shipping for some reason just to match the estimate

EDIT: i just checked my mail just now and it arrived (probably yesterday, as my parents bring in the mail) never got notification that it shipped

I’m not really super concerned with the benefits of it because I use it so little. Basically I use credit the least amount possible while still doing enough to improve my score with time. Idk if I worded that well.

But basically, if I don’t really care about the benefits, and I’m just trying to avoid getting screwed, and just want to establish good credit with time, shall I just opt in for this card?

How long do new capital one credit cards take to arrive in the mail? Is their 7-10 business days claim true, or is it possible for it to arrive earlier?

I recently applied to a Venture Card as stated in the title. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of applying last minute and to be fair, this is my third credit Card ever. (Opened it last night). I was approved and now it shows it coming in the mail, June 3rd.

Unfortunately I cannot wait this long as I have a deadline prior to this to make a purchase I was hoping to use this card for. Is there anyway to access my credit card number/information either through the app/web/ or in branch? I tried calling this morning but the rep said they couldn’t expedite the card.

All in all, if I can’t get it, I think I may just cancel the card, being that it is very new(less than 24hours) , it won’t have a lasting effect. Any help would be appreciated!
