Blue bubble is RCS message. Which is iMessage like message system for Android. It will show deliver status of the message. Show Green bubble is SMS message. Which is a regular message system. Why some times using SMS and some times using RCS? Depends on your situations. Also if your friend A using SMS only and you use RCS, the system still pick SMS protocol. Unless you and your friend both using RCS, then the message app will pick RCS protocol. Hi Steve, can you advice as to how resolved this issue? I send a message to same contact and some go through blue and tell me when the message has been read. Others go as green, and I have no idea if read or not. Never had this problem with my old phone. Files are received in a thumbnail format. You must select the thumbnail – which will expire after seven days – to download the entire file.
