Please try again later.Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2022 Picked this up after watching a few of the Meat Church videos online and used it for the first time on some baby back ribs and then on some of Meat Church’s “Shotgun Shells” (look up this recipe if you haven’t heard of them, it’s worth it!). It’s got a great flavor and you can really use it on almost anything. I’m usually not big on hyped up seasonings because everyone out there has there own that they claim is the best, but I really like this one, and will probably buy more in the future. My biggest complaint and really only complaint is the cost. I feel like the Meat Church seasonings in general are a bit overpriced compared to making my own and buying the raw ingredients. But I’ll tolerate the price because this one is a winner. I had nothing but compliments when using it and on my ribs I also combined it with the Honey Hog seasoning. It's so good I used it on everything so I bought a second. Not super salty like most spices my biggest reason for ordering. I'm hooked. Just try it. Meat Church Holy Gospel Rub - 10178 The Holy Gospel BBQ Rub. NO, it's not
50-50. This took tons of test cooks to get it right. We saw plenty of folks mashing two rubs together plus acted on customer feedback of Holy Cow being too much of a black pepper punch or Gospel needing a little more. Whatever the case, this blend is great on ribs, chicken and beef!
