Vanna White is feeling the love from her Wheel of Fortune family after she revealed she had to say an emotional goodbye to her longtime pet named Stella.

On April 25, the Wheel of Fortune cohost shared that her cat of nearly two decades had died. Vanna paid tribute to her four-legged companion on Instagram with a photo of them together and a heartfelt message. “My sweet Stella has gone to kitty heaven," she wrote. "I miss her so much and will cherish the special memories of the 16 years we had together."

But the loss was also felt by others who didn’t get the chance to meet her, like Vanna’s costar Pat Sajak.

Later that evening, he surprised her with a montage of Stella at the end of Wheel of Fortune’s episode. “It’s always sad when someone loses a pet and Vanna’s cat Stella passed away recently,” Pat said. “She was such a big member of our family and she’s going to be missed so much and love her to death,” Vanna said.

“I know I’ve teased you a little bit about Stella over the years but we always loved hearing about her and actually put a little tribute to her,” Pat said. “Thanks for sharing with us over the years. We appreciate it. So sorry about that.”

The 90-second montage showed Stella from her early days as a kitty being welcomed into Vanna’s family. The clips also featured her kids — her daughter Gigi and son Niko — sharing sweet moments with Stella. What’s more, Vanna captured Stella doing impressive tricks around the house like sitting down, opening doors and drinking water.

After the “melancholy close,” Vanna shared the Wheel of Fortune montage on her Twitter. “Here are some special memories of the 16 years we had together,” she captioned it.

Without hesitation, Wheel of Fortune fans immediately reached out to her with loving and supportive words. “Vanna I was watching Wheel tonight when you announced your sweet fur baby Stella crossed over Rainbow Bridge I'm so sorry for your loss and I know you're going to miss her so much 😢 💔 my prayers are with you and your family,” one person wrote in the comments. “Vanna I’m so sorry for your loss..I cried my eyes out watching the clip Pat played in your kitties memory…💔,” another added.

In early April, Vanna announced that her father, Herbert White Jr., had died at the age of 96. She remembered him on social media as well, and viewers let her know that they were always there for her.
