Pensacola Beach’s popular outdoor summer concert series, Bands on the Beach, features a lineup of performers sure to please every musical taste. Located in the beautiful Gulfside Pavilion overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the series features regional artists performing a wide variety of music. Join us every summer for hot music, smooth grooves and a whole lot of good times. Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to the pavilion area. No pets are allowed and glass is prohibited. Bands on the Beach is at 7 p.m. and begins the first Tuesday in April and ends the last Tuesday in October. Concerts are provided and organized by the Santa Rosa Island Authority. The Santa Rosa Island Authority has announced that Bands on the Beach officially returns starting April 5 and will run through Oct. 25. The popular outdoor summer concert series is held every Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Gulfside Pavilion on Pensacola Beach. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, Bands on the Beach delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. Cat Country 98.7 radio personality Brent Lane or his station cohosts will take the stage before each show to introduce the featured band and make stage announcements during intermissions. How late can you be in the beach in Pensacola?There is no closing time for the Beach. The lifeguard leaves at 6:00 and you swim at your own risk. The restaurants, shops and bars will close. The pier is open all night for fishing.
What time does Pensacola beaches close?— Open 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. — Everyone going to the beach must follow social distancing guidelines of staying in groups of 10 or less, and groups must be at least six feet apart from other groups. The area under the Pensacola Beach Pier, pavilions and public restrooms are all closed.
