It is fun, exciting, and action packed. I'm in no way saying this is the best season in the franchise, just saying on it's own, it is great! This season can be divided into three parts, The Gatekeeper arc (Morticon), The Dark Wish arc (Imperious), and The Ten Terrors arc. The arc names are my own, they are in no way official, but it's a way to break the season down. This is a red ranger focus season and it is awesome. The battles involving Koragg are fantastic. The U.S./New Zealand exclusive battle scenes are great! There is definitely a lot of wire work going on and the fights sometimes can be a little messy because of that. You do not need any prior knowledge to watch this season. The season can stand on it's own with only minor references, easter eggs, and cameos.
