Greedfall Coin Guard Merchandise Quest: How to Complete it

In order to complete the quest, you will first need to go to New Serene, which is in the New World. To do this, you must board a ship. Upon your arrival, you need to go towards the barracks, and speak to the quartermaster. You can find the quartermaster in the Coin Guard Barracks. He is located in the main room.

Upon speaking to the quartermaster, you will need to explore a few other warehouses in order to track down some crates and mark them. After doing this, you need to return to the quartermaster. This will essentially complete the quest, but the quartermaster has more tasks for you if you would like to do them.

Coin Guard Merchandise is one of the first side quests that players will be able to take on in GreedFall, and it seems that some people are having issues figuring out how to actually complete it. This quest will be found in GreedFall as soon as a cutscene with the main character's mother is finished.

GreedFall will instruct players to meet with Kurt in front of the palace, and then a cutscene will play out, and then Kurt will join the party. The secondary quest will now be available in the side quests menu within the journal. Setting the Coin Gaurd Merchandise quest as your primary quest should prove to be helpful.

Negotiate with the Vendor

The first part of this side quest tasks players with finding a vendor and negotiating with them. Follow the compass to the vendor, and he'll try to charge extra for items. Get through the dialog and then choose to either threaten or offer a bribe to accomplish this first quest step.

Now, players should follow the compass to the next location, which takes them to the Coin Guard Barracks. Once the quartermaster is spoken to, the next step will commence.

After having the goods delivered to the warehouse in Serene, wrap up your business on the continent and sail to the new world. When you arrive, talk with the local Coin Guard representative in New Serene. He will inform you that the goods are now stashed in another Naut warehouse, and that they need a special marking so the Coin Guard will know which ones to pick up.

Hopefully you haven't binned that sailor's uniform for this bit. Head to New Serene's docks and hop over the fence (you'll know spots that can be vaulted by their white markings) into the Naut's warehouse district. Search both buildings marked on your map. Interactable objects are indicated by their red glow. After marking the merch, head back to the Coin Guard barracks in New Serene to turn in and complete the quest.

Coin Guard Merchandise isn't terribly tricky, but you may not immediately realize that you're required to sail to the new world in order to complete it. Understanding the fundamentals of how GreedFall approaches quests with various solutions is key, and this mission sets you up nicely for the rest of the game.
