Talk to Renna (Ranni) at the Church of Elleh Your first opportunity to meet the witch Ranni comes very early on. After you obtain your horse, Torrent, from Melina, you should head to the Church of Elleh at night. You should find Ranni there waiting for you.

To reach Rannis Rise in Elden Ring, you must first defeat Royal Knight Loretta at Caria Manor. With the boss out of the way, youll be able to access the northwest reaches of Liurnia, including Rannis Rise. Youll also have access to the two other towers within this region: Rennas Rise and Seluviss Rise.

Hey, I wanted to start Rannis Quest but she never appeared at the Church of Elleh for me and consequently(?) not at Rannis Rise. I didn't find Church of Elleh for some time and beat Margit before it I think, maybe that's a problem? Has anyone found out yet what triggers Ranni to appear at Elleh exactly?

Ranni won't appear at the Church of Elleh.

I just got Torrent so I decided to go to the Church of Elleh at night to meet Ranni for the first time and she isn't there. I want to get the Lone Wolves summon.

Also haven't been invited to the Roundtable Hold yet either.

You have to die at least once.

Also it's no big deal to miss out on her here. You get the lone wolf summon and bell from the Roundtable Hold if you missed it at the church.

Could you open you map? Could've been in combat, but that is a guess.

Did you run back to the church? Ive only gotten her to show by fast travel. Pretty sure you can do it straight after getting Torrent, no dying needed. From her dialog, you may need to have ridden Torrent first and not just recieved him?

I'm pretty sure I've done it without dying, but not sure. Riding Torrent could be right.

Yeah, make sure you fast travel to that Grace, she won’t show up if you just walk/ride there.

Creepy is my favorite type of Pasta.

Did you go to Caelid (sp?) early?

I snagged the greatsword early (wonderful weapon) and she didn't appear for me

Why wont Renna appear at the church?

There are three reasons why Renna may not be appearing in Elden Ring: She leaves if players haven't visited her after a certain amount of time after triggering her appearance. The trigger to make her appear hasn't fired. She's supposed to appear, but a bug is preventing it.

Why is Ranni not showing up?

If you triggered the festival at Redmane Castle before you were supposed to then Ranni will not be in her tower. You will then have to kill Radahn before she shows up. If you go to the Altus Plateau before visiting Redmane Castle that will trigger the festival.
