Here’s the official description of the new original series on Disney+:

‘The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’ picks up the story of its central character, Penny Proud, and includes her madcap family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and grandmother Suga Mama (and Puff!). Of course, it would not be “The Proud Family” without Penny’s loyal crew Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez and Zoey Howzer, among others.

The returning cast from the original series includes Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud, Paula Jai Parker as Trudy Proud, JoMarie Payton as Suga Mama, Cedric the Entertainer as Uncle Bobby, Carlos Mencia as Felix Boulevardez, Maria Canals-Barrera as Sunset Boulevardez, Alvaro Gutierrez as Papi, Karen Malina White as Dijonay Jones, Soleil Moon Frye as Zoey Howzer, and Alisa Reyes as LaCienega Boulevardez.

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder premieres on Disney+with two new episodes on Feb. 23.

We are getting a first look at some new characters coming to The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder!

Disney+ has just revealed first look photos at a handful of the newbies that will be on the new show, which is debuting on the streamer NEXT Wednesday (February 23), with the first two episodes.

Some of the guest stars in the series include Lizzo, Jaden Smith, Lil Nas X, Brenda Song, Al Roker and many more.

Lizzo is the first singer Oscar hires to perform at his new theme park, SnackLand.

Jaden Smith as College Myron

He is the college version of Myron Lewinski, voiced by Marcus T. Paulk.

Lena Waithe as College Maya

She is the college version of Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins. This is who voices the younger version!

Al Roker as himself

Al will be a wish-granting genie.

Lamorne Morrie as himself

Lamorne will be a headliner in a musical.

Brenda Song as Vanessa Vue

Vanessa is a local TV news reporter who covers Oscar’s most embarrassing escapades.

It wouldn't be a The Proud Family reboot without a star-studded guest lineup. Disney revealed first looks at several celebrities, who will appear in The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder — some as themselves — animated in the beloved original series' signature style.

The new character art depicts Al Roker, Brenda Song, Jaden Smith, Lamorne Morris, Lena Waithe, and Lizzo. Roker, Morris, and Lizzo will play themselves.
