Beer CANdles are the perfect item for every craft beer loving home, tap room or beer garden! 🍻Made from empty beer cans, each candle is hand poured in small batches on the central coast of California. Each Beer CANdle is scented with our proprietary mixture of fruit and floral essential oils, making for a universally pleasant and bright scent. Every Beer CANdle is an ode to craft beer, whit and recycling. The Oxford Companion to Beer Definition Issues stated that “from grain to glass, all aspects of the brewing and delivering beer to the marketplace process is burdened with environmental issues.” The Beer CANdle is our small way to off set that contribution. At Chop Top Bottle we find great value in making something out of nothing or making waste useful again. In a study done by the US EPA, it was found that under 50% of all beer cans in the US are actually recycled. So when you burn this candle down please recycle ♻️ the can or contact us for a refill! Please keep in mind that all our Beer CANdles are made from recycled cans and some imperfections may occur. None of these small imperfections, like a scratch or a small dent, will inhibit the purpose or use of the candle and its artwork. Soy wax fills the entire can, no fillers are used.

THE DETAILS:

WAX✴️:
All our La Croix CANdles are filled with organic soy wax farmed in the USA. All of our Soy Wax is biodegradable and free of pesticides and herbicides. We use Soy Wax as it is a non petroleum based wax that won’t contribute to CO2 levels of the atmosphere. Soy Wax burns 50% longer as it burns at a lower temp. Resulting in a longer burn with little to no soot and a productive scent throw. Lower burn temps also mean that it is safe to make a beer can into a candle. Similar to a votive candle in an aluminum vessel.

SCENT👃🏼:
All Beer CANdles are scented the same, with our proprietary mixture of fruit and floral, Phthalate-free essential oils. Our candles are moderately scented as not to overpower ones palate or cause an allergic reaction. The scent throw or scent strength will deepen once the candle is lit. All of our wicks are organic, lead free cotton wicks.

BURNING INSTRUCTIONS & SAFTY:

🕯Keep wick trimmed to 1/4” for every burn.
🕯For first use, burn until wax pool meets the
edge of the vessel; this will allow for a more
even burn down.
🕯Let wax solidify before burning again.
🕯Do not burn candle for more than 4 hours at
a time.
🕯When burning candle keep the lit candle
with in sight. Keep on a flat, solid surface.
🕯Keep out of reach of children and pets.
🕯Never burn on or near flammable objects.
🕯Vessel can become hot, handle with care.
🕯To avoid any marks or damage to surfaces, it
is strongly recommended that all candles
be placed on a glass or ceramic tray, dish,
trivet, plate or coaster.
🕯It is recommended to keep free from wood
and plastic surfaces.
🕯Do not swallow or ingest wax.
🕯Do not use wax on skin as irritation or burn
can occur.
