The only indication about the delay was this. If a customer is traveling with this need I would presume the airline knows in advance so why was it a problem and a surprise which delayed a plane full of people for two hours. People missed connections etc. Not good! And barely any updates"

Also the crew, weren’t properly stocked with anything, not even water. They did their best to work with the lack of supplies and information they were given. Otherwise I felt like I was in a bad version of the twilight zone. And I love that show."

Cons: "Absolutely everything except for the crew listed above. The delay was never informed to anyone until check in- even then the gate’s LCD screen wasn’t even updated with a delay. They said they had to call British airlines to ask them to change the information! No one was allowed into the lounge for a 5 hour delay which is horrible. Considering the airport was under construction and the restaurants all closed an hour before boarding. It was horrible. I missed work because of this and my day rate is 800$ and all I got was a lousy $100 voucher. If Alaska airlines had, I don’t know let everyone into the lounge and provided us with more respect and something in return maybe it would be so bad. But right up to three of the boarding crew (not Danielle) who were YELLING at people. People who were tired and confused. It was the worst experience and I am a global flyer with my company."

Once I was on the plane, I started kicking myself in the you know what because I knew immediately I was scammed. I had purchased a 1st Class ticket for $400+, only to find that my comfort would be the equivalent of that if I purchased a ticket in economy. My long legs would still be cramped. For the past few years, I have been purchasing 1st class for it's spaciousness. On this flight, on the RCJ700, I did not fly comfortably. The space was very tight, and I was able to stretch my legs as if I sat in economy. This was by far, my most uncomfortable flight ever. SMH; A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!"

Cons: "Our flight was originally scheduled for departure at 7:45 PM. We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."

Bad customer service, bad expectations management."

Pros: "My flight was delayed and redirected to a nervy airport. The staff at this airport was all on board and ready to assist everyone is getting the most current information and putting us a new connecting flights"

Cons: "The check in at LGA was not the smoothest. Most of the kiosk weren't working and was making it hard to check in"

So we had to go down 20mns before reaching Charlotte to a nearby airport to get fueled up and then went back in the air. The whole ordeal made me miss my connection flight to Barcelona! And I wasn't able to get on a flight until the next day. To make matters worse I had to flight back to New York to catch the flight to Barcelona! Unbelievable. I was beyond disappointed. I chose American Airlines for a reason, a good one at that. Yet this happened."

Cons: "The flight was delayed and we spent about an hour just sitting in the plane before we took off. When I expressed concerns aboit making my connecting flight to the front desk representative she stated she didn't have time to help me as she had a plane to board. It was another 20 minutes before she even began to board anyone. She was very abrupt and rude. I had to call AA while sitting on the tarmac to get rebooked which was a more positive experience."

Cons: "The issues steming from poor service, I waited for agent at gate for 5min prior to boarding. I wasnt able to get a seat assignment online or kiosk, was told to go to gate for seat. After agent assigned me a seat in the last row, after I asked for something closer to the front of plane. I was told that I had to check-in my carry on bag because they were expecting a full flight. I said that I had an 19" bag that was small enough to be put in overhead compartment. I was then advised that if I wanted to get on the flight I had to check my bag. I then spoke to a supervisor who said the only way to carry on my bag was to pay for an expensive seat or be in group 2. The agent had put us in group 3. I said that none of the reasons given for not being able to carry my bag on tje flight is not stated anywhere on website or when purchasing a ticket. I had no choice but to give up my carry on bag. Boarded group 3 and upon getting on plane I noticed that the overhead compartments were half full. As I arrived at seat 30 A, all the compartments were empty. I went to the front of plane to speak to an agent on ramp and other passengers were bringing on their carry on bags. I spoke with the supervisor who said I couldn't get on flight unless I checked my carry on bag. All he could say is that he was sorry for the inconvenience. I asked why he was helping other passengers to bring their luggage on board but I was refused. Then a flight attendant said that I was being disruptive and was going to get thrown out of flight. There is no explanation why my girlfriend and I weren't allowed to bring our carry on bags except being discriminated."

This was to have been the head-clearing out-of-town break I sorely needed after a period of over-intense work."

Seems like AA like a better system for their pilots."

Even though there weren't anybody awaiting in line she could not be bothered, she got rid of me and asked me to do that at the gatw. By the time the gate opened there weren't any ailel seats. The service people are trained to be rude and treat all passagers as slaves. I would not fly United if I will have a different opinion."

Unheard of!!!I love to watch CNN, MSNBC & Fox it makes the time fly!! Hopefully will Never have to fly United Again"

Every time the PA system was used it buzzed so whatever was being said wasn't comprehend-able. The biggest complaint was the seating room. I understand that you want to get people into more legroom seats but honestly there should be a regulation for the inhumane way you treated those of us that did not ante up more! I thought I alone have these opinions but once you get me back home, you loose my business forever. I will take my Transatlantic flights every six weeks elsewhere."
