Is it just the one time or is it infinite technically per character. If I go into new game ++ would it be harder than new game + ?

It does get harder, should stop scaling at NG+7 like others souls games

You can go infinitely; however, the difficulty increase stops increasing after ng+7 (assuming it's the same as past titles).

What exactly do you start an NG+ with (from the previous game)?

Everything except key items. So you lose any bells or anything turned in. You keep like recipie books and spells and shit. All weapons and stuff kept, any smithing stones, gravewarts etc all kept. Only key items and stuff you have to get again. So you’ll get doubles of mostly everything

You can go all the way to NG+8

No limit. It just might not get harder anymore. However, we have no one to confirm this yet.

is it one of those games where you only get one new game plus per playthrough (like arkham games) or is it infinite?

I did it twice, once 100% on Normal, then again on GMGoW. I considered doing a third but DQ XI and Spider-Man came out.

I'm currently on my second playthrough of the game on NG+. How many times can I go through the game with NG+? Is it like most games with a NG+ feature where you can go through the game from beginning to end as many times as you want?

You need a save from before you use NG+, once NG+ is finished you cant start another NG+, but with a save before using NG+ will allow you to do NG+ as many times as you like as long as you keep that save.

you can only play ngplus once as you cant play ngplus with a ng plus save. But like pablofreak88 said if you never saved over you regular ng save that you used for ng plus. You can start ngplus over again using the regular new game save. As long as you don't save over it or delete it.

Btw my phone puts everything in a wall of text even though I put paragraphs. Have no idea how to fix it. Sorry.

You can repeatedly play the game over and over again for seven playthroughs, meaning Journey 7 will be your last.

The devs capped it at 100 and will not allow you to use a NG+ save to start a new NG+ game.
