How to set clock on Samsung microwave with no clock button

One of the first things we ever do with a new a microwave is set the time. It's handy to have that clock in your kitchen so you know how long until it's suppertime! It's also one of the first things we need to do after a power outage to get back to feeling normal. However, we make a lot of microwaves with all different kinds of panels, so the actual steps for setting the clock may feel hard to find. No longer! Here we cover several different types of panels and also provide a link to where you can get the user model for your specific model.

Although we've included a few of the most common variations of time-setting methods here in this article, the best way to get the information specific to your model will always be referring to your user manual. If you don't have the one that came with your model, or if your model only came with an abbreviated manual, you can download a digital version of the full manual from our download center anytime.

You should set your microwave’s time when you first install it and any time you need to adjust it.

1. To start setting the time, press OK, and then press the left or right arrows to set the hour. Then, press OK again.

2. Press the left or right arrows to set the minute, and then press OK.

3. The control panel will now display the time. When using your microwave, the current time will change to the set cooking time.

On certain microwaves, you'll need to use the Options button to change the time. It will only take a couple seconds to set the clock.

1. Start by pressing the Options button.

2. Then, press the 9 button on the number pad.

3. Press the OK button, and then enter the current time using the number pad.

4. Press OK when you’re finished.

Some models have a hidden clock feature that can only be activated with the Power Level button. Once you've enabled it, you can easily set the microwave's time.

1. Press and hold the Power Level button for 3 seconds.

2. Enter the time using the number pad.

3. Press the Power Level button once for AM, and twice for PM.

4. Press OK/START to confirm the time.

Instead of an Options button, some microwaves have a My Settings button. You can use this to change the time on your microwave's display.

1. Start by pressing the My Settings button.

2. Then, press the 9 button on the number pad.

3. Press the OK button, and then enter the current time using the number pad.

4. Press OK when you’re finished.

Note: These instructions apply to several models, like ME18H704SF, ME16H702SE, ME20H705MS, and ME11A7510D. On some models, you can press the Clock button while cooking to see the current time.

1. Press the Clock button. (On some models you may have to press and hold it for 3 seconds.)

2. Enter the time using the number pad.

3. Press the Clock button again to select AM or PM.

   Note: Some models may skip this step.

4. Press ENTER/START to confirm the time. (On models without that button, use the OK button instead.)
