YO ! It is me again, seems like i will be the first one, so lets make it good ! Well, not much to say around here, just a pretty simple special about the Seven Deadly sins past, even tough it is quite simple, it is still interesting as it shows their lifes before the split and how their relationships was at the time, so if you already watched everything it is a nice watch, not going to spoil anything for you guys cause it is very fun to see the course of the story, jsut have in mind the time period it takes place ...

Well, Season 4 is currently airing so I figured it would be a good time to return to the series and subsequently have a go at my first review.
If you’re going to be critical, I beg you cut me some slack.
Now moving onto the story aspect, and there really isn’t much to talk about. It features Hawk as well as the rest of the members of the Seven Deadly Sins happily going about their day-to-day lives, just as what you’d pretty much expect from any other OVA. And speaking of expectations, umm yeah *clears throat*. To put it simply, it does not disappoint.

The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky (2018)

Not much time has passed after The Seven Deadly Sins in alliance with Princess Elizabeth ensured peace in the kingdom. Now, it is time to honour the king’s birthday.

The Seven Deadly Sins trek to the Sky Temple looking for the illusory ingredient “sky fish.” Meliodas and Hawk land at a “Sky Palace; the abode of the winged creatures” situated above the clouds. Meliodas is imprisoned after being confused with a criminal. The inhabitants are getting ready to protect themselves against a rapacious beast anticipated to awake soon after 3,000 years.

However, Six Knights of Black, an evil tribe army, breaks the seal on the beast before time. in order to threaten the lives of the residents of Sky Palace. In this precarious situation, Meliodas and his allies battle with the fiendish enemy.

Immaculately choreographed fights engage the viewer’s imagination while impressively depicting body language and design behind the event. Each character is highlighted to give due time and attention.The animation displays emotions vividly while presenting a great storyline.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light (2021)

The plot is built around the time after the alliance of humans, gods, nymphs, pixies, and Seven Deadly Sins stand victorious against the Six Knights of Black, an evil tribe army. Unfortunately, the peace after the Holy War does not last long.

The Seven Deadly Sins have to stand against impending threats, find the culprits and nip the evil. It is a love story tinged with precarious challenges.

It is a suspenseful and gripping venture. The intricacies of characters and situations in this fairyland anime will keep the viewer entranced. Dappled with softness and warmth of love and interplay of strength and violence in the battlefield.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of Holy War (2015)

The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of Holy War is a special released by the authors of the manga and the directors who created this. They thought of giving the fans a little extra something from the franchise to chew on.

The kingdom of Leonia had been occupied and taken over by the Holy Knights. Seven Deadly Sins had to take it back. They join forces with Hawk and Elizabeth. Together, they finally took back the kingdom and regained control. They can now celebrate their victory and then enjoy themselves. It had been quite some time since they could actually enjoy themselves.

Well, nothing is that simple, is it? I mean come on. You may have heard the saying, with every hardship comes ease, with every ease comes hardship. Well, they got the ease, so it is now time for hardships.

While they are enjoying their feat of acquiring this empire back. Their happy days are going to end real soon. Time for another amazing battle and adventure! Oof. I would want you to include this special in your list because some people tend to exclude it thinking of it as an extra. You, on the other hand, should definitely go for it.

OVAs release order

Now is the time to talk about OVAs. For those of you who may not have heard of the term OVA, it means Original Video Animation. Video animation of manga is very vital in the anime world.

There are people who do not read manga and go straight towards watching anime. Anyways, let us now go towards the release order of OVAs.

Bandit Ban (2015)

Bandit Ban is the character that is in the middle of a quest. He goes to a forest in search of something that will ensure his youth forever. Bandit Ban travels towards the Fairy King’s Forest.

Nothing comes easy in life; the forest is guarded by an external being named Elaine. Ban could not do much with her guarding the place, so he decides to put his question on hold. He starts to have fun with Elaine. Elaine starts getting feelings for Ban.

The forest gets attacked by a Demon. The demon successfully lands a fatal blow on the forest which causes Elaine to lose control of the forest. He alone defeats both Elaine and Ban.

Elaine is the only one who knows where the fountain of youth is so she practically forces and pushes Ban to drink from that fountain so he may be able to save the forest and save themselves too. Ban finally agrees to drink from that fountain and fights with the demon. He then has to kill the demon in order to gain perfect control over the forest and protect it from all future harm.

Heroes Fun Time – Extra Stories Compilation (2015)

Elizabeth and Hawk go shopping because of the dinner they have to attend. Meliodas goes hunting to get food for his meal. However, they fail to get food. The failure to get food makes them cry.

However, they get a donation of food, and their spirits get enlightened yet again. They drop the gifted food again due to which they get punished. Not everything is serious in this OVA. To see one’s crush naked, a character does everything in his power to achieve that. It is quite amusing. Hawk cries that someone ate his leftover food. So, he starts an entire investigation to figure out who the actual culprit is.   

A girl goes around and proposes to everyone, one foolish guy falls for her but then realizes she has been proposing to everyone so now he has to find a way to say no to her.   Everything is just funny. He does not like festivals. However, his friend tells him about the fights of Meliodas. Meliodas is now known as a traitor in the kingdom. I mean if you look at it. Everything is in chaos.

Nothing is in order. Everything sounds funny and is very confusing. You would think that there is no need for such actions, yet the characters tend to do that no matter the consequences.

Heroes’ Frolic (2018)

Meliodas and his father are the main focus in this OVA. The demon king keeps his son locked up in purgatory. On the other side, the story of Hawk starts. Hawk is a pig. There are two fairies in Heroes’ Frolic.

The story is quite twisted and confusing for those who have not seen any of the movies, anime or read the manga. So, my advice is for you to keep watching, reading everything in order.

Humans are evil. They kill one of the fairies and then the fairies’ partner has to find out truly what happened to him. The whole tale itself is very twisted in its own unique way. Everyone is doing something on their own. On one side, Meliodas is kept in purgatory. On the other side, two fairies are on their own journey out of which one gets killed.

When the Seven Deadly Sins save the day and the world once again, they go make sure to enjoy this victory. They go to an inn and enjoy their liquor over there. They serve food and have fun. After all the fights and tough scenarios, rest is always needed.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Imperial Wrath of the Gods (Season 3) (2019)

It is quite an eventful season. A deadlock results between Liones and the dominions supervised by the Ten Commandments.

Meanwhile, King and Diane are transported into the past to probe a few details leading to the Holy War; Gowther has to handle his own skeletons from the past, and Merlin passionately looks for Arthur in a devil-operated Camelot.

The situation becomes crucial when Elizabeth’s memories bring forth relics from her former life-giving away details of her and Meliodas’s divine curses. Circumstance might force Meliodas to take a wrong decision, whereas, the re-emergence of archangels from the holy lineage seems to be indicating a new beginning of Holy War after a 3,000-year respite.

This season the plot gains strength and the season ends at a poignant point leaving the viewer keen on finding out more. Quite a few pieces of the puzzle come together mounting the thrill and curiosity levels. The scale of warfare, details entailing action, and baffling twists command the viewer.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement (Season 4) (2021)

The notion of Samsara overshadows the progression of the plot and turn of events as Meliodas and Elizabeth are freed from the curse of the Evil King and his allies after the Evil King faces defeat.

Being a final season, things tend to get tough for everyone. The directors of the show have to ensure that their audience keeps on coming back for more shows and is motivated to stay on till the future.

For now, this is the season where the show has ended but more is yet to come. The creators have even hinted on the next upcoming season. Of course, there is some wait in when the next season will come.

Meanwhile, we are sure of one thing. That the wait will be worth it. Everything is amazing about Seven Deadly Sins because it has adventure, mystery, fights and lots of drama. The season pronounces that it is a wrap for all that is happening except how Arthur is doing. It is a little difficult to identify where he is headed and how significant his presence is to the plot… may be a hint at a sequel.
