The Mimic chapter 4 part 4 map

Gameplay:

The House - part Mama Mo

After heading inside your house, you head upstairs to your room, in which you see your mother hanging. The door closes, and you walk to the master bedroom. You collect the key located in there, and head to the garage. Get the key outside and head into the basement. You collect a crowbar, destroy the barricades, and get the key inside of it. you head further down the basement, to see a giant lake of mannequins there. Some of them move, and once you get past the lake, you get sent to the La Quinta High School.

La Quinta high school - Part Daddy Mo

After getting teleported to the La Quinta high school, you find out that your father(mother in nightmare mode) is there. You must find 13 butterfly spirits inside the school all while avoiding the monster. after collecting the last butterfly, you get teleported to a village.

Meeting Kusonoki - part Lolo Mo

After getting teleported to the village, walk till you find a door and enter. There will be a statue in the center of the room with the code-2573. Find a butterfly spirit and use it against the spirit door. Continue along the path till you see a cabinet. Use the code seen on the statue on the cabinet to unlock a key. Use this key to the door across the spirit door and you will be teleported to a cabin. Open the door and you will be in a forest maze. Find 6 cursed items and burn them in the white flame in the center of the map next to a huge tree. After burning the 6th item, a cutscene plays and then teleports you to the final part of the chapter.

Saigomo's Lair - Part Sama Mo

After being teleported, you receive a blessed blade to end Sama once and for all. Keep going straight until you see a spider web with all of the Masashige family members. A red door will appear. Go towards the red door and you will be teleported to Sama's lair. Sama, who has morphed into Saigomo, will try to kill you. Destroy all seven hearts in order to receive two choices: Kill Sama or Save your parents. Kill Sama gives the good ending whereas save your parents gives you the bad ending.

Monsters

There are 5 monsters that you encounter in Chapter 4.

• Tokito

• Daku Masashinge

• Keiko Masashige

• Kusonoki Masashige

• Saigomo

In Chapter IV Nightmare, all monsters have a increased speed of 25%.

Tokito - The Mannequins

Tokito is the first monster that attempts to kill you in Chapter IV. They appear in groups and are scattered around the cursed swamps. The Tokito(s) are mannequins that the Player encounters in a swampy environment. They are tall and are made of wood. Tokito(s) just acts like The Shizus, they only move when it is not looked at and when spotting the Player, the Player will get a stamina and speed boost as he will try to catch up and kill you.

Daku Masashige - Your Dad

The 2nd monster you encounter is Daku (Your father), A fairly tall man wearing a black short sleeved shirt that has pockets, along with a grey tie. He has a red pin and is semi-bald due to the sides of his head appears to have hair. You can encounter him in the School. Daku's head appears to be a dull grey while his mouth is covered with chains, just like his wife Keiko. Do remember Daku is too tall to enter a classroom. If Daku sees you go into a locker, he will be able to get you whether if it's opened or closed as he is walking past it. It is better to go into a classroom if possible to avoid Daku, since he can't enter the classrooms.

Keiko Masashige - Your Mom

The 2nd monster you encounter (In Nightmare Mode), is Keiko, a woman that appears to be tall, with a dirty gown. She have a long black hair, Her head seems to be covered in chains, just like her husband Daku. Keiko is an alternative for Daku and will only appear as a monster in Nightmare IV, she acts just like him but replaces him by a lot. She will have her own model, her own jump scare and even a spotlight. In Normal mode, she only appears as a harmless monster other than having the most jump scares. Another about this is instead feeling the ground shaking, she will play music which covers some sounds of her come by but does not cover the sound of her loud pitches which can be taken advantage of when listening carefully.(best with headphones).

Kusunoki Masashige - Your Ancestor

Kusunoki Masashige makes an appearance in Chapter 4 after Chapter 2. Kusunoki is faster and harder to avoid, he has the same appearance as his Chapter 2 variant, but different clothes. He retains his hands on his back but holds 2 katanas, wears larger clothing and a larger hat. He appears in Part 2 after completing the objectives in the La Quinta High School.

Saigomo - The Final Boss of Book 1

Sama has morphed into Saigomo and her name has been revealed to be Kintoru said by Kusunoki. Saigomo is a form of a spider and a woman. She crawls on the ceiling and does not retain her porcelain doll mask but a more dramatic mask. You can avoid her by listening for metallic banging sounds and hiding in boxes. You can also detect whether she is close, by listening for her famous laugh. It’s best to hide in a box or run in the opposite direction if her laugh is loud. Once 3/7 hearts are destroyed she will enter her enraged state where she will gain a speed boost and a more horrific mask with sharp teeth and glowing white eyes.

By completing Chapter IV you can obtain;

• "Control" Chapter IV Completed - Good Ending - you can obtain "Good Ending" by Voting on "Kill Sama"

• "Control" Chapter IV Completed - Bad Ending - you can obtain "Bad Ending" by Voting on "Save Your Parents"

• "Control" Nightmare IV Completed - you can obtain "Nightmare IV Completed" by completing Chapter IV on Nightmare. You also earn a lantern called "Kusonoki Lantern".

Trivia

• It is unclear as of now on how the Player's parents were devoured by Sama.
• The song that plays on the radio in the basement is a version of "緑の地平線"(Translated: "Green horizon") by Kusunoki Shigeo by just hearing that on Video to hear the comparison.
• When Sama is finally gone, everything she has done will be reversed and now everyone is back to normal, but they lost their memories of the incident, as for now...
• There are a total of 4 monsters in Chapter IV. (Keiko not included).
• In the past when you reach the second part Daku will have dots following them. However, this has been patched.
• This is the first chapter where the eldritch god makes an appearance.
• This is the first chapter to have a Boss Fight. (Sama/Saigomo)
• This is the first chapter you encounter your Mom & Dad as monsters.
