The terms are as follows:

The starting wage will be:
- $16.25 per hour (for full-time/day-time availability)
- $13.75 - $14.50 per hour (for part-time/night-time availability, depending on work history)
- $12.00 per hour (for delivery driver only/flex-availability, with a guarantee of $15 per hr during the initial training period)
Employment will be considered provisional for the first 2 months, meaning if we feel it is not a good fit, we reserve the right to separate employment with or without cause.
A one week written or email, notice of resignation is required for the team member to be considered for rehire eligibility at any Chick-fil-A restaurant. If the one-week notice condition is not satisfied, the wage rate will be forfeited and the rate of pay for the final pay period will be reduced to minimum wage ($7.25).
Work availability may not be changed for the first 2 months. Availability changes (excluding time-off requests) must be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the effective date of the change. Approvals for availability changes are based on the needs of the business, and will take into consideration the reason for the request (i.e. school, activities, other commitments). Availability changes that cannot be accommodated will not be approved. If these conditions are not met, the following outcomes may occur:
- The team member’s hours may be significantly reduced
- The team member may be removed from the schedule
- The team member may forfeit any bonuses (full or partial), uniform reimbursements, or other conditions as explicitly outlined by the hiring manager or authorized agent.
- The team member may forfeit their wage rate, resulting in a reduction in wage-rate (including possibly minimum wage) for the remainder of the time employed with Chick-fil-A.

The First 12

Your training period will last 12 shifts, commonly known in our store as “The First 12.” During this crucial period you will learn the basis of being a team member at our restaurant and decide whether Chick-fil-A is good fit for what you look for in a job. This is also the period during which we will evaluate whether you are a good fit for our team and whether to promote you eventually to a team member.

How to go to your Starting Pay: $12/hr

After your First 12, you will go to your starting pay if you meet the requirement to officially become a Chick-fil-A Castleton Square Team Member. Your starting wage is $12/hr, unless you’re under 18 years of age in which case your starting pay is $11.

We look at three criteria we call “the 3 Ps” when deciding whether a team member is a good fit for our team after their First 12.

Did the trainee arrive at least two minute before their scheduled time, in complete uniform, consistently over their training period?
Performance
Is the trainee able to operate at least one station in the kitchen or the front counter on their own with absolutely no supervision from their trainer after the first 12?
Pathway™
Did the trainee complete the required online training “TEAM MEMBER BASICS 1” Modules on Pathway?

Activate your starting wage

To activate your starting wage, you will need to email Dawn (click here) after you complete your online training. This will trigger your starting pay after completion of the online training has been verified. It is YOUR responsibility to inform Dawn, failure to do so will result in a delay in getting your raise until it is done.
