Best PvE warlock build destiny 2 Reddit

Starfire and sunbracers are good for solar, I haven’t tried out sunbracers in endgame but I could see how it would work really well as long as you can weaken a target for a ranged melee kill. I have a build for both of these, one was taken from plunderthabooty, I’d recommend his vids along with these other commenters, he makes some great guilds.

It’s kind of hard to go wrong with void, consider contraverse, nezarec, manacles, etc.

Arc is a bit more dicey, but again, plunderthabooty seemed to create a really good one recently around the new warlock melee aspect, definitely check that out.

And then stasis can really work by itself, but works best with osmiomancy gloves.

I have builds myself or that I’ve found online for all of these, let me know if you want specifics

If built right, any subclass is good. I use to use void predominantly... then solar non stop with solar 3.0. I used stasis too, works great. Now it's constantly arc with 3.0. If I had to choose, it's a toss up between my solar build n my current arc build.

level 2

For me I would want some tank build mix with a lot of DPS ( idk if that’s possible ) but somewhere between those two

level 1

void for solo pve since it has devour which keeps the warlock alive. Having nova bomb as burst dps and healing rift works great.

For teams, you would be better off with solar/well for general usage.

level 1

In a very short and simple way: Stasis with osmiomancy gloves, solar with starfire protocol, void with controverse hold and arc with crow of tempest

Not sure if there’s a point to sweet sorrow along with montey, that kinda build works best with titans and their actium war rig exotic since they can fire forever.

However with warlocks, you can use Monte Carlo to make some great melee focused builds:

Void: use fragment that gives grenade energy and healing on melee kills. So you can easily cycle between nades and melee.

Solar: use snap and put on aspects to give you radiant along with any other scorch and ignition improvement fragments so you can chain explosions. Use healing grenades along with karnsteins, sunbracers or claws for even more fun.

Stasis: spam the freeze melee and put on fragments and aspects to get more freezes and the stasis shards to get back melee energy.

Just use whatever to maximize your melee ability benefits, best way to utilize monte.

Title says it all, after 3 years of using only hunter today I got my warlock to 1545* and wanted to know a fun build that’s not reliant on exotics but is still effective in PVE, currently just running around with the most random stuff in Solar 3.0 and feels kind of meh in comparison to hunter, also a good way to go through lost sectors would be great to know too,

Cheers :)

Devour warlock with void weapons and volatile rounds (high discipline and recovery, with resilience being important also) 😊

level 2

what's the point of recovery over resilience? Devour fully heals you, and if you are running elemental ordnance your rift should come back within 10 to 20 seconds.

level 1

good for high end/very high end PVE or just run around in strikes n stuff PVE? Devour on void is always great especially for new warlocks, because if you are decent you will almost never die. more details can be given depending on what style of PVE you're hunting for

level 2

Mostly the endgame stuff s I’ve done most of the things in the game will need to go grab stasis on my warlock later just giving it a break at the moment, but definitely the endgame PVE

level 1

I use stag on my shadebinder turret build but it's entirely optional.

This bread gave me diabetes

Solar. Icarus dash + heat rises + healing grenades + rays of precision + solar fulmination + ember of empyrean/torches/ashes/eruption.

Mods: melee wellmaker, bountiful wells, font of might, elemental time dilation. Also flame harvesting if you run an exotic weapon.

Weapons: any solar weapon, I know you said no exotics, but tommy's matchbook or vex are good.

Loop: Eat a grenade -> jump -> hit/kill something with a melee -> grab a solar well -> nuke everything with your solar weapon in the air and never die-> occasionally drop to grab a solar well and use your melee when it's up.

level 1

What exotics do you have? You said in one of the comments you don't have the meta ones but plenty can work.

level 2

In terms of what I do have for my warlock for exotics

• weapons: no time to explain, dead man’s tale, Graviton Lance, lord of wolves, trespasser and Gjarllahorn • Armor: Astrocyte Verse, eye of another world, verity’s brow, opphidian aspect and aeon soul.

level 1

I would say the basic Voidwalker build is still fun even without exotics. This build works well with any Voidwalker exotic, be it Nezarec, Contraverse or Secant Filaments.

  • Cataclysm Nova Bomb

  • Vortex Grenade

  • Healing Rift

  • Child of the Old Gods: your healing rift spawns a child that drains enemies next to the one you shoot with a child, and gives you grenade, melee and rift energy back.

  • Feed the Void: getting a kill with a Void ability activates Devour, healing you to full health and refreshing Devour on any further kills.

  • Echo of Expulsion: Void ability kills make enemies explode.

  • Echo of Remnants for longer Vortex grenade.

  • Echo of Persistance for longer duration on Devour.

  • Echo of Instability is one of the coolest thing in a Void kit right now. Grenade kills give you volatile rounds, making any Void weapon apply volatile to enemies, spreading that volatility to nearby enemies on their death (and also exploding due to Expulsion).

Paired with any Void weapon, its a good all around Voidwalker build

level 1

Stasis Lock with Coldsnap Grenade and perks that increase damage/resistances when destroying/being near stasis crystals. You can use Elemental Shards to convert stasis crystals into wells which opens up the door for both High Energy Fire and Font of Might. You can also use Bountiful Wells and whatever else you like with this. Get a decent auto rifle, Krait works well with Headstone. This build will prep you for when you DO get an exotic and in this case Ager's Scepter and Osmiomancy Gloves complete the build.

You throw the Coldsnap Grenade or melee a enemy, kill...coldsnap moves on and freezes another, it's a ton of fun.

Once you do get the exotic gloves you gain an extra grenade and 100% grenade ability on direct hit. I just picked up the two exotics in the last week, but have been rocking this build since the season started and don't even want to touch others.

level 1

Go on youtube and look up Aztecross "Roy mustang build" he uses claws of ahamkara in it but that's just because it compliments the build, it's not required

level 1

Why would you not use exotics? They are specifically made to bring builds to their next level.

You're basically asking whats the most run way to run without running shoes.
