Shameless season 3 episode 7 Reddit

I'm currently rewatching the series and just watched this episode. And in the part where they are in the judges chamber. What the judge said to Fiona, foreshadowed what unfolded in the next couple of seasons. Now, I don't know if this was a coincidence or spoiler alert... but chef's kisses.

For reference, he basically says to Fiona that becoming the legal guardian to the children is a huge responsibility. And even though he admired what she had done and what she was about to do, he believed she was making a big mistake and would change her mind down the line. Now I don't know about you guys but I feel this is the episode where the series started to have a "plot" and "define" a main story line.

Fiona and him never had a discussion about her taking responsibility of the kids, she went ahead and made the discussion without him, which i understand needed to be done but, couples at least should talk about a big decision like that before going ahead. Sad that now she doesn't even seem to care what they do.

First, just wanted to say that was Emmy's strongest performance yet. So many great moments for her in that episode. If she isn't up for the major awards next year...

I like this season. It will be interesting to see how it closes -- the last few episodes of season two elevated it from "good" to "great" for me. I feel like this has the same potential.

PROS: Great performances from all of the Gallaghers, Ian & Mickey relationship really feels fleshed out now, some believable relationship give-and-take moments between Fiona & Steve, some good funny subplots (Kev & Veronica, mostly), bold plot moves, pointed social commentary & play with conventions (sexual, gender, etc.)

CONS: A little too much sex for the sake of having sex/nudity sometimes, I'm not a huge Mandy fan so too much Mandy for my liking this season, the supermarket thing is kind of dumb, Jody is kind of pointless, it looks like this is about to change but the Jaime subplot has been an albatross so far.

Hi everyone! I am new to this subreddit I'm taking a scene study class and I was wondering if anyone had any idea where to find Shameless (US version) Season 3 Episode 7's screenplay? I have searched for hours and have had no luck. Only found transcripts. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Kevin, Veronica and Svetlana start a topless maid service. At the shelter, meanwhile, Frank makes new friends to replace his old family - leading them to a for-sale house converted into the Gallagher Home for the Homeless. Plus, Debbie's new lifestyle comes to an abrupt end; Carl gets a syphilis scare; Ian struggles with a breakup; and with Fiona on the run to clean up after her siblings, business at Patsy's hits the skids.

level 1

When Carl and Frank make eye contact as Carl just skates on by... I can't even tell you why but that 5 second clip made my week. Gotta love the strength within the subtle!

level 2

Ethan Cutkosky, the kid who plays carl, is becoming such a good actor. Carls become my favorite character.

level 2

I'm so glad Carl isn't being manipulated by Frank anymore.

level 2

Mine too. I was thinking of how well shot the series is.

level 2

Best moment of the whole episode

level 2

just catching up.

his smirk even shows he was in the wrong this time and owns it without having some smart ass retort.

level 1

"like from a toilet seat?" LMFAO

level 1

Wonder if the actors on the show are insured in case they throw their back out picking up Liam. Kid has to be like eight now.

Good episode though.

level 2

I love how they match the amount of lines he has per season with his age.

level 1

Daddy Frank you want a bj? That's just not right...

level 1

Once again, the brothers talking in the living room was one of the best scenes. Lip really opened himself up to Ian and admitted he messed up. Nice to finally see him recognize that. Also it is satisfying to see Fiona finally start to think about herself. She paid her dues and now deserves to live the life she really wants.

level 2

And then right after Lip bares his soul Carl comes in and it instantly flips to comedy. That's what I love about this show. How it goes from feelsy to hilarious that fast.

level 2

I love seeing Ian and Lip maturing.

level 2

During that scene I noticed Ian's face has aged, the softer boyish features are gone.

level 2

I agree that it was the best scene, I'm loving the interactions between the two this season.

Do you think Ian 'slept the whole night'? After he delivered that line he was holding some strange prolonged eye contact. At the very least it seemed...suspect.

level 1

Carl played that like a fuckin' champ.

level 2

I loved how Luther called in SWAT, did not expect that.

level 2

admittedly I would have flipped
